The Madison Area Builders Association is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to promoting a positive business environment by uniting, serving, and representing all aspects of the building industry. The Association's services and activities foster the professionalism of its members and provide a forum for education and information exchange for the benefit of the industry and the communities its members serve.
Chad Lawler is an experienced and accomplished association, legal, and government relations professional who has assisted clients on local, county, state and federal issues. After serving as MABA's Director of Government Affairs starting in 2016, Mr. Lawler was named Executive Director in 2018. During his tenure with the Association, MABA saw substantial growth in membership, revenue, and member and community engagement.
The Association is composed of three membership types - Builder, Associate, and Affiliate. Membership is appointed to the company, allowing all employees of the member to receive benefits of membership and attend events. Wisconsin Builders Association membership and National Association of Home Builders membership are included with your annual Association membership. All Association members have access to a variety of resources on a local, state, and national level. Memberships renew annually on a rolling basis.
The Madison Area Builders Association offers multiple membership types for companies in the building industry. Companies who are located in Columbia, Dane, Iowa, Marquette, and Sauk county are eligible for membership. Membership types include Builder Membership, Associate Membership, and Affiliate Membership, to learn which membership type your company falls under, check out the membership application. Association memberships are by company and all employees of member companies have access to Association membership benefits.
