Would never build another home with them again. The sales and design phase were good, but once construction starts, look out. We closed on our home in Shakes Run after numerous delays. Zero communication on virtually everything. We had to become virtually relentless and demand communication. It was stressful, unprofessional and beyond ridiculous. Many things done incorrectly or shoddy.
No pride in their work and the project manager was rude, condescending and full of empty promises. We are STILL battling with Elite over a list of items to be done after closing and then continue to submit warranty ticket after ticket on items that need fixing. That being said, we love the neighborhood, the floor plan and the lot. If you build with Elite, you will essentially be an unpaid project manager.
Question everything, get everything in writing and watch them like a hawk during the construction phase. It was extremely stressful. It seems that they are the "best of the worst" when it comes to production housing. I would be embarrassed to work for a company that has zero interest in customer service.

Our home in the Twin Lakes neighborhood is very low in quality. I've honestly lost track of how many issues we've had. Nearly every major system in the house has given us problems: plumbing, numerous significant unsafe electrical issues, foundation, flooring, roof, non-functioning radon system, etc. When we moved in we found that a section of our driveway was on the neighboring property.
Their initial solution was to just take a concrete saw and remove the section of driveway that wan't on our property. The latest, reoccurring issue is a leaky basement. During heavy rain we've actually had water enter and drip from our electrical cabinet. When I contacted Elite about this issue I was told that I shouldn't be concerned about water in the electrical cabinet.
The basement waterproofing company has tried to fix it twice and the issue just keeps getting worse. It's unlikely that Elite will ever properly address the issue. We've been consistently battling quality issues for nearly a year. This experience has been a nightmare. There have been several issues that were so unsafe that someone could have been seriously injured or worse.

The newest future residents of Shakes Run give Bobby Lewis an A+++! He is so knowledgeable and thorough but still able to break things down in terms easy to understand with regard to the home building process (which for newbies like us can be a little intimidating, but he immediately made us feel so comfortable). We also really appreciated that he never made us feel like he was trying to "upsell" us to something we didn't want - he is *genuinely* a nice, relatable and experienced professional that wants to help others achieve the goal of building their dream house and he made it so easy and enjoyable because he was able to answer all of our questions quickly. Highly recommend working with Bobby Lewis if you are considering building a home!

Love our forever home, love our neighborhood, the sales/build. team of Elite.eh. Non-responsive, misleading. home is well built but their finishing touches (paint, trim, fixing blemishes and problems) leaves a lot to be desired. Paying a lot for a home to walk in and granite countertop is cracked, paint mismatched, drywall/plaster issues, front door didn't even lock when we closed and took multiple trips to fix. Attention to detail is horrible!
