First Choice Restoration

Our home suffered water damage from one of the summer of 2021 storms. After finally get insurance to move (Allstate), First Choice Restoration came on board and the work repairs began. The First Choice Restoration construction workers were very courteous, and mindful that they were working on the house that we live in. We just plain like them! The construction work was impeccable and even the daily mess that was necessary was cleaned up each day.

If we had any questions, if the construction workers couldn't answer, they referred us to the Project Manager, Juan Alvarado, who promptly returned the call and took all the time necessary to explain so that we understood. It was necessary for First Choice to hire a subcontractor at one point and, unfortunately, there was some personal property damaged by that subcontractor.

First Choice Restoration held that subcontractor's feet to the fire and the personal property was replaced to our satisfaction. We strongly recommend First Choice Restoration.

We had workmen at our house rebuilding the cabinet under our sink. They pulled out our dishwasher for us, because we are getting a new one. The dishwasher had leaked and they thought there was mold on the back wall and side wall. I called First Choice Restoration and spoke with John Roe. He came to our house this morning (June 24,2021). John cleaned and scraped the area and sprayed it.

He also painted it to give additional protection. He said it was a minor problem. We highly recommend First Choice Restoration and appreciate John Roe. They are not a company that takes advantage of people. We will definitely call them again if we have any additional problems and highly recommend them.

I came across first choice through my home insurance company and I'm glad I did. I had water damage in my garage that lead all the way to my kids bathroom upstairs my first encounter was with Danielle a great professional gentleman. He immediately start the restoration process clean, professional. Then I was contacted by Aaron Hoffman the owner he introduced himself and kept me informed ever step of the way.

This was during pandemic in December 2020. Everything was restored but then we found out there was some issues in the bathroom tile. When I contacted Aaron via email he immediately call me and he immediately had his head contractor Kelly sent for inspection and told me Don't worry will remove everything and Re do everything to your satisfaction.

He was handling big project of all the water damage that happened in Texas due to the sudden snow storm but he always answered my phone call or text in very professional manner kept me updated every step and the bathroom is in the process of getting restored as he promised. I give big shout out to their professionalism, Courteousness, Attentive, Honesty. I highly recommend any of your constructions to use First choice Restoration.

Company is a joke. They dont ever have any work even though they are a "preferred vendor." When they do have work they arent even permitted to be there, under numerous cases was there threats of misdemeanor tickets by the city, david and aaron literally have no idea how to run a restoration company, plus the guys they have working there are very under qualified and theres just alot of slack to be picking up.

They also like to have mandatory meetings where they like to discuss how much work they arent going to have, worst company i have ever worked for, and would not recommend applying here to anyone

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Unfortunately, we were referred to them through our insurance company to replace the shingles on our roof. Their communication is very bad and inconsistent. I could never get a scheduled date to repair the roof, it was always "I'll talk to my guys and call you back" no callback or "next week" then their truck driver "called out sick." I understand that they are busy, I realize that other people had roof damage as well but all I asked for was communication and a scheduled date so we would know what to expect. We've had the damaged since August, we JUST recently got the roof repaired.

Now that the roof is FINALLY complete, we have a leak. I reached out to First Choice, I sent them pictures, they said they would send someone out and they blew me off. After feeling helpless, I reached out to my insurance company who informed me that they talked to First Choice and they are blaming it on my AC leaking. They never came out to look, how do they know it is my AC leaking? In addition, the leak happened while it was raining. I've been very flexible and patient with them up until this point, but now we just want a resolution.

Not recommended. Took over 20 hours of time off to accommodate them after they couldn't measure a room so the carpet was too short. That was after they lost the type of carpet and didn't call to tell me for a few weeks. Luckily I still had the carpet type. No credits or anything, here is your bill.

I dont know of anything more stressful than building a custom home! I am very picky! Of all the contractors, 1st Choice Restoration was the only one who did what he said he was going to so when he said he was going to do it and at top quality! Unfortunetly, FCR is now having to fix the shotty work of other contractors! He and his workers are professional and went out of their way not to disturb our family and we didnt even notice when they were around.

When looking for a contractor, licensing is important but just because someone is licensed does not mean they are honest and will do quality work! In addition to being licensed, Aaron is very easy to talk to and gave good design suggestions. It sounds cheezy but I told Aaron he cannot get rid of me because he will be the only contractor I ever use! His name says it all- First Choice! I truely cannot say enough about what a Godsend Aaron and his team have been to our family!

We were looking for a water restoration service to clean up my mother-in-law's flooded home in Globe. I contacted several firms through Yelp's "Request a Quote" feature. First Choice called me within 30 minutes, learned about the problem and then said they would call back to tell me if they had a crew available. They did do that. However, unbeknownst to me, my sister in law contacted another company and set them on the way to Globe.

When the First Choice scheduler called back a few minutes later I had to tell her that no longer needed the service. The owner called back a few minutes to confirm and then he followed up with an email to make sure the other company did the job correctly. Based on this customer service I would definitely recommend First Choice.

Their work, including containments, and detail cleaning and decontamination processes are always top notch. Tony Reyes is always super fast and friendly and a #1 professional in my book.

Professional restoration company that will help YOU instead of your insurance agent. I found out that it is important to call these guys FIRST before you call your insurance company. They will help you during your emergency time of need. The owner is professional and an all around great guy to do business with.

For restoration, insurance work and negotiation, water damage, fire damage, flood, mud, disaster, mold, you name it.they do it! They are 24 hour service and they come out in about an hour. When I needed them the most they came. I wouldn't look ANYWHERE else for this type of work.

NO. Jeff Mattingly visited my home and spent about an hour with me talking over the details of the job I wanted done. He told me he would email a quote within the next day or two. The next day he called me and said that he wanted to get some more specifics. After 2 hours of conversation, he decided that he wanted to come back the next day. I agreed and planned on that.

As the evening aged to around 4-5 pm, I called him and the call was rejected. The next morning I called the office and they said they would call me back. They did, and let me know the general manager would call be back in about an hour. That was 3 days ago.
