Kissick Construction is a heavy civil construction company in Kansas City conceived in 1994 in an apartment kitchen. Thanks to the dedication of its founders, Lloyd J. "Jim" Kissick III & Pete Browne, it now boasts over 300 employees and projects spanning the midwest. Each project gets its own seasoned site management team headed by an experienced project manager who's backed by an experienced project administrator.
Our project managers will spend time in the field with the team on a daily basis. This helps ensure that any issues get handled quickly, leading to projects with lower risk that stay on schedule and within budget.

Kissick Construction Company was founded in 1994 by Lloyd J. "Jim" Kissick III and Pete Browne. To their new firm, they brought a long working relationship and a commitment to provide quality service to their Kansas City client base. They believed then that success is a result of treating others fairly and with respect, hiring and retaining talented people, and never saying "we can't" to a client.
In the construction industry, there's arguably nothing more important than safety. Kissick Construction's philosophy towards safety is an organizational culture that places a high level of importance on safety beliefs, values and attitudes. Our work force is highly trained to accomplish their tasks in a responsible manner.

As a resident of the Willow Ridge Manor subdivision in West Shawnee, KS, I wanted to thank the workers of Kissick Construction for their diligence and attention to detail on the recent project on Silverheel Drive. While construction projects can be disruptive to any location, your staff were always respectful of the thoroughfare which included residents, school buses (Horizon Elementary School) and those who use this street as a cut-through.
The property was well marked with signs/cones and the sewers were blocked to prevent debris from falling into the drains. Additionally, your staff cleaned up daily at the end of their shift - ensuring our neighborhood remained beautiful. Please extend to your staff my appreciation for a job professionally/beautifully executed. They showed up daily on time and are hard working individuals. We look forward to the property being developed in the future!

Kissick is currently doing some work at K-state in front of the building I work at. And today I tried to move a big recycle bin up the stairs and not realizing how heavy and unbalanced it was dropped it and everything thing spilled out. Two of their men saw this mishap and quickly came over to assist me. They were super friendly and didn't even think twice about it. I am so glad that our university can peacefully exist with such awesome people.
