Jason came to install two replacemen flood lights that I had purchased. Unfortunately the new lights were slightly larger than originals and were difficult to install in space available from old lighrts. Lights were 20 feet up the garage wall. Jason stuck with it and found a way to make them work. Nice guy, / hardworker and fun to talk to.

Best electricians we've ever used! They worked very efficiently while patiently answering our questions and making recommendations for improvements in our fixtures. They understood all of the funky wiring we seem to have in our home and came up with a plan to improve the safety as well. Cook Electric helped me rewire work in my Annapolis home that had been completed by a technician from another company. The previous technician's work was incomplete and would not pass inspection - I called Cook when the other company would not come out to finish the job. Cook was thorough and labeled all the wires to make it easier for the inspection. I recommend Cook for any job large or small.

Very responsive, punctual and professionally competent. Technicians were able to identify cause of electric malfunction that would not, in my opinion, be evident to the average DIY'er or less experienced electrician. They also quickly identified two defective switches and replaced them. They were well equipped, had the type/color of switches needed on their truck; and ensured that everything was in full working order before wrapping up the visit. I will definitely call them again for any future electric repair needs.

The lights in the range hood, with a 125v to 12v transformer in the circuit, stopped working, interfering with our ability to cook our evening meal without using a flashlight. I called Cook Electric. Kathleen answered the the phone and took down a description of the job. She understood just what I was talking about and said luck was with us - Norman and Jason were with her and planning to leave.

Their project had been rained-out. They arrived at my house in 15 minutes and in less than 10 minutes had analyzed the problem and concluded that the transformer had burned out and diagnosed why it had burned out. They explained the problem to me very clearly. They had an identical transformer on their truck and installed it quickly. They also identified and corrected a problem in the circuit they believed caused the old transformer to fail. The amount of care they took in making sure the work area was left clean, neat and safe was exceptional. They were finished in less than 1/2 hour.

Larry Cook and his team are top notch. We had them replace a service panel and run additional circuits at our cottage. They were very professional, courteous and efficient throughout the entire process. Larry worked with me to schedule the service exactly when I needed it. The installers (Rob, Randy and Alex) were very professional, polite and courteous. They worked quickly, safely and efficiently. Last week my AC went out and after the HVAC folks were here to give me the bad news - needs new compressor - I realized that some of the circuit breakers were out and not engaging, including my refrigerator! In a wee panic I called Cook Electric for help. As luck would have it Dan and Dave were finishing up a job near by and were over within 10 mins!

By that time I had sort of figured out the problem (it involved a sub panel) but I was grateful to have them there to confirm what had happened. Have used them in the past to install an exterior 240v outlet and found them to be very capable and communicative.

We worked with Larry and his team to have electric installed in our shed. Larry came out and reviewed the job, then gave us an estimate shortly after. He was kind, professional, and great with communicating during the entire process. Nick and team were also very professional and competed the job in a timely manner. The team came out and installed some new recessed lighting for our kitchen. They were prompt and very organized. They also took the time to listen and give suggestions for a few other projects we had.

I can't thank them enough. I have a tricky set (3) of pendant lights that kept blowing out - they really should have been trashed and replaced but I loved the blown glass shades and begged the technician to find a solution to a bad product. So after trying a couple of things that didn't solve the problem, he took them to the shop and completely rebuilt them, including enabling them to LED lights. They used to get so hot they warmed my kitchen island - now they are great. Thanks for sticking with this problem and solving it!

We just hired Cook to do some electrical work related to a kitchen renovation project. They were recommended to us by a neighbor who had hired them for a major remodeling project, and were extremely satisfied. Norman was excellent.
