Locally owned and operated, we have been licensed contractors for more than fifteen years. Our crews are very experienced at building garages. We do not prefab "sheds" and ship them in from a factory in another state. Hodges Garages Builds Kansas City's garages. We have enjoyed working with you and we are extremely happy with our new three-car garage.

You went above and beyond your responsibility on several occasions. You and your work crew were always courteous and very easy to work with. We also appreciate that you were available via telephone anytime we had a question or something to discuss.

Critical: Value Met with this company to get a bid on my double garage with an storage space above. I requested they only build and quote the shell, framing, plywood and concrete. Received a proposal for $57,000! Is this the going rate now for a 24' x 24' shed with no roofing, siding, drywall, plumbing, electrical, hvac and paint?

Extremely difficult to communicate with. The work they initially talked about was not put into the quote and then later they denied we even talked about it. They were really good about communicating when they wanted to get paid, but disappeared for weeks at a time while the job was going on.

I used an architect who helped design and supervise the progress of my new garage/art studio, 2012. Dwyane worked well with the architect. I was committed to the project. Estimate of time of project? 6-8 weeks. How long did it take? 6 months. They are building everywhere in my area and is a good sign for this older neighborhood. My driveway started a hairline crack the first year.

They were uninterested. It reached across the driveway. The drywall tape started peeling and I let it go, and now my beautiful trellis is rotting, tipping and cracking the outside stucco. They took a look at it, ran a large nail through the wood to temporarily lift it almost level. But the cedar wood is rotting, the crack in the stucco is still there and the other side of the trellis is starting the same disintegration. It would have been so convenient for them to fix this. They were in the neighborhood since last fall.
