CMR Construction & Roofing

Eleven months ago, they met with us, promised efficiency and professionalism. Then they took our money and disappeared. What they did not disclose during that meeting, is that their suppliers had already cut them off. We googled "CMR roofing lawsuits" and settled in for a very long read. Te BBB suspended the, The Florida Attorney General has a long list of complaints where CMR scammed Floridians.

We used CMR to replace our roof in the fall. They gave us a competitive cash bid and a timeframe we were happy with. Based on their positive reviews we decided to use them. BEST. DECISION. EVER. My sales rep, Brad, was very helpful in the shingle selection process and kept me updated every step of the way. He also was very knowledgeable in ISO Foam Board and had it custom fit to our flat roof and not only have I noticed the insulation properties it brings, it looks a thousand times better.

In the end we have a high quality, beautiful roof with a top notch warranty! They cleaned up after themselves and then a few days later the sales rep came by and double checked everything.

Hands down the best place to get your roof replaced. My sales guy (Isaiah Thornton) was new to the company, but yet he would answer all my questions about the contract and work to be done before they got started. What I thought would be a long drawn out process went pretty quick and super smooth; they dealt with our insurance adjuster as well, which helped out a lot. We're loving our new roof - thank you CMR for the great work. I hope we never have to use you again, but if we do - you've got a customer for life.

My nightmare began with this Company on Nov. 11 when I came out of Home Depot to find a note on my car to call Joyce and the entire driver side of my 2020 Tiguan was dented and scratched. The driver drove away, per usual, never to be held accountable. I called Joyce, who is in Texas and is the HR Director, and seems to be very cantankerous and leads me into a roundabout conversation making out that I should feel appreciative that the driver left a note at all.

After multiple back and forths, where Joyce made crystal clear that the company was paying cash to fix my car and would not rent me a car while it was in the repair shop, even though their driver was at fault, I had no other option but to go with my car Insurance and let them deal with Joyce. This is bad business and bad customer service to build a reputation such as this. I am a healthcare worker, who needs her transportation. These expenses add up. 0 stars!

Used their quote to settle our insurance claim. Now they're not happy with the amount, and want me to disregard anything I've already paid toward my deductible. In essence, pay them more. Beware, once they sign you up, they no longer treat you as a customer. They are very slow to respond to questions, and many times never do. I have now been siting on my settlement paperwork for a week, because they can't decide if they want to do the job for the balance of the deductible I owe, or they are strategizing on how they will strong arm me. It's all about squeezing you for more.

They currently have at least one workmanship lawsuit in my neighborhood. My only regret is that I may be forced to have a roof installed by them. I will definitely be hiring someone to progressively inspect their work.

My mom (86 years old) lives in Fl and her roof was damaged from one of the hurricanes that went thru her area. Subsequently her roof was badly damaged because of storms. She has been paying her home insurance for over 25 years with the same insurance company.

I suggested to her she should file a claim with them, and I would help her with it as I live in San Diego, CA. We filed a claim and after everything was said and done the insurance company came up with a dollar amount that was ridiculous to do all the repairs that were needed and were extremely hard to work with. Long story short Mr. Clouchete, Esquire handled the case all the way to a mediation hearing in which a fair settlement was reached, and Mr. Knowles is in the process right now of installing a new roof for my mom. I can not thank both Mr. Clouchete and Mr. Knowles enough for all their hard work and help in making this happen for my mom. She was in tears when I told her she won the mediation hearing and they made the insurance company do the right thing!

Brad worked with my Dad and I thru the whole process when Insurance declined it. There attorney started the process of going after our insurance company took a couple of years. But in the end they came around and the process was easy with CMR Taking control! Amazing people Brad is amazing and Byron Williams was great to work with also! Thank you CMR!

CMR Roofing has been the worst experience from beginning to end. I could write a book about the whole thing, but just want to warn people not to use them. I've never been treated so badly and you can't trust them because they tried to get insurance deductibles from me. Thankfully, I never have to deal with them again.

Big company known for paying it's teams and helping a lot of people. Everyone who works there seems to be happy with the way they are treated.

CMR filed a legal complaint when my roof was denied by my insurance Company and won. I now have a beautiful tile roof and CMR has been wonderful in doing a beautiful job from start to a great clean up finish. Very nice people to deal with.

We have had an outstanding experience with CMR Construction & Roofing for the replacement of our tile roof. They were always there on time for us and did an exceptional job. At the final Palm Beach Gardens, FL inspection, the inspector told us that he had followed the construction throughout the process and was very impressed with the quality of. the work.

Thanks CMR Roofing and Lee Wilkeson for doing an outstanding job. Lee was able to work with our insurance company to gain approval to replace the tile roof on our home after Hurricane Irma damaged it. Iverson Golden kept us updated on the progress of our claim and of the work schedule to complete the roof. Tonya Gernatt was another strong support person we communicated with during the project. We love our new roof. From start to finish it was completed in less time than I thought and the roof looks great. I would highly recommend them.

SCAM - company advertises $100 for a free digital roof inspection and instead they come out, performs a PHYSICAL roof inspection without you being there and explains their "program" which is to have insurance pay them for roof damage. They won't provide a quote or explanation of damages and instead require a heavy handed contract. Avoid at all costs. Unethical.

CMR employee Robert Carlin came to my door unsolicited, wanting to inspect my roof for damage. I assured him I had no leaks or other problems associated with a damaged roof. I live in a duplex, so my neighbors and I share a roof. One of their men was inspecting my neighbors' roof and came walking on my roof after I told them not to. They sent me pictures of 2 missing tiles on the ridge line and a few cracked tiles. Robert told me I needed a new roof and his partner would get back to me with a price.

He never did. I subsequently engaged a licensed roof inspector to come and take a look at the roof. He inspected both mine and my neighbors' roofs and told us they were both solid and did not need to be replaced. He said the missing and cracked tiles should be easily replaced for a few hundred dollars. These people are very slippery and dishonest.

Roof finished three months ago. I've called, texted, emailed my contact and multiple offices to get a final invoice to my insurance company so I can get my Recoverable Depreciation. The numbers listed on line are answering/sales centers with 0 customer service, they have no one that can help and insist on taking a message and someone will contact you. Ive done that over two different numbers over 6 times and no one has contacted me back.

They stated they are working with my insurance company on additional charges but my insurance stated they last record of contact they had with CMR was over 5 months ago in May of 2019

Ron Sams and the crew did a fantastic job guiding us through and helping us repair our roof after just purchasing our home. 1st class service! Wouldn't recommend anyone else!

Company has done a lot of work in my neighborhood. Very professional. Helped approve my claim quickly and did great work. They were backed up a little because of the rain but got the job done fast despite.

Please neighors be very careful when useing this roofer his name is scott huey project manager i signed agreement with him back in dec 2018 he took all my papers from my ins compay and nevery gave me any info about he left me 2 months with out calling me and only now after giving the ins co. the wrong sq' for my roof i called him ask him i was uncomfortable with not having any info about him and cmr before i could ask some questions started to use demeanor and your language to use on the phone at me delayed perform and lack of ccontact and hang up on me he told me his lawyer is going to go me because i signed a agreement i need attorney if anyone can give me name phone that deals agreement if you want more info call me 239-598-9055
