Kenneth Axt Painting completed our job with high quality in a short time frame. Ken was very detailed with the estimating and the wall prep work was done very well. Also, they helped with some wall-related carpentry needs. That was very helpful to have multiple things that they could address. Ken and Cheryl checked on our project and made sure everything was done before our movers arrived.
They also answered numerous questions, always within 24 hours. That was super helpful with planning for other dependencies in the project. Overall it was the most organized painting team I've had the pleasure of working with. They are true professionals. Marvin and Luis were great team leaders. Luis was particularly skilled. Yoel was great at trim work. They were very fast. Everything was covered and prepped properly. I was very happy with my service and will use them again in the future.

This is the second time we have used Kenneth Axt Painting in 2021 and will use them for any further exterior and all interior painting we have done in the future. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Work is scheduled and completed on time and the crew doing the work are meticulous and restore the area to the way it was when they are finished. The quality of work is outstanding.

If you are seeking a company that pays attention to detail, works diligently the entirety of the day, and cleans up any debris and trash at days end, look no further. We hired Axt Painting for a massive exterior paint job, and I based this hiring decision on solid reviews. Two brothers are the owners, and they seem to have given much thought to every aspect of the process. David Axt comes out in advance of the job's start and spares nothing in writing an extremely detailed list of items included, and pre-job prep, including minor wood repairs needing attention before the painting begins. (Did I mention THEY provide the carpenter)?
The carpenter was excellent and the crew that followed was astonishing to behold as they engaged on very high ladders on a very tall structure (our 3 story home), as if it was no big deal. What a amazing and talented crew! Also, we had MANY windows needing much detailing. Again, no problem! The crew leader and his 3 painters for 2 weeks straight worked so hard and their results were consistently excellent daily.
They worked so well as a team, all 4 being excellent. Also daily, the crew leader would give me an update on the job's progress. We were so pleased with this company, from start to finish, that I give my unequivocal support and highest recommendation to Axt Painting for your paint needs! (PS, they employ a delightful color specialist, who gives great guidance on color selection. I HIGHLY recommend using her free service, as a small paint swatch in no way predicts how the color will appear on a large surface).

Axt Painting was not the lowest estimate we received but we were confident from the beginning that they would be the best painters for the job and we were not disappointed. From start to finish, everything went extremely smoothly, with the excellent assistance of the office staff. The estimate was the most detailed and clear that we received and even needed carpentry work that was not discovered during our home inspection (we just purchased home in July of 2020) was found.
The carpenters worked with us to do the repairs exactly as we requested and the house looked like new after they completed their work. The color consultant was a big plus - prevented us from making a mistake with the color and we are very pleased with the results. We definitely would have picked a color that was too dark without her assistance. We cannot say enough good words about William and the work he and his team did painting.
He was extremely professional and cordial and addressed even the smallest items with care. The painters were extremely hard working and we were especially impressed with the preparation work that was done - we believe that is what made the results so excellent. The fact that we were able to do a "punch" list and have items fixed after the completion of the job was very impressive.
There were just a few minor things that needed to be addressed but these were taken care of immediately. The end results are fantastic and we are very satisfied. We have received many compliments on the work. We would not hesitate to highly recommend Axt Painting.

Unlike most other reviews you'll read, we had an unsatisfactory experience with Kenneth Axt last year. So if you are considering their services, please spend 2 minutes to read our review. We hired them to paint our entire house, a straightforward enough job a traditional colonial. Unfortunately, their paint team made a significant error in how they prepped our HardiePlank siding.
The estimator, David (Ken's brother) specifically stated in the work order not to caulk the butt joints. The crew that arrived did caulk three sides of our home before they realized their mistake. From there, things got worse: 1) The issue was consistently dismissed as being minor or trivial despite there being clear, cosmetic damage to nearly 100 siding planks 2) Attempts to resolve the issue were short-sighted and further damaged the siding (mainly in their attempts to fix the issue, i.e. sanding) 3) Because of the significant cost to resolve the issue, Ken Axt dragged out discussions in attempt to arrive at only a partial fix In the end, we lost all faith that Ken Axt could restore our home to its original condition.
We still needed to fix the issue, so we then called 3 other highly rated pros who confirmed that that yes, these were significant issues and we were perfectly right in expecting better from a painting company. The highly rated company we hired to fix the issue did fix these issues, and ironically, made an error as well. But unlike Kenneth Axt, they did not minimize the issue and instead fixed the issues right, the first time.

Kenneth Axt Painting goes above and beyond in every respect imaginable. While our neighbors had recommended Axt for the quality of their work, we were amazed by the high level of customer service and attention to detail that accompanies the painting. We hired Axt to repair carpentry, pressure wash, and paint our entire house. Our message through their website was immediately returned, and the process began the next morning with a personal visit from the Axt brothers, David and Kenneth.
With binoculars to see the upper parts of the house, they spent a few hours looking over our house to provide a thorough estimate including their recommendations for the work to be done. Their visit was followed by a color consultation with Marcie, who was patient in listening to our thoughts and provided expert advice about changing the color of our house.
Then the real work began with the carpentry repairs, pressure washing, and painting. The entire crew was incredibly professional and carefully worked on our house. With the work completed, Jeff reviewed the work and pointed out a number of items that we had somehow missed in what we considered to be a meticulous review. We just had all of our main areas of the house, the stairwell, and the landing completed. Kenneth Axt Painting was right on time, polite, clean, careful while moving furniture, and got the job done within the day! We are very happy with the way everything turned out and they were sure to do a final walk through with me to see if I approved. Great service and a great price. Shout out to Marcie for helping us decide on a color! I would highly recommend them!

Ken came by to give us an estimate for painting the exterior of our house in Marietta / East Cobb. We could instantly tell how attention detailed he is - something we had read in Home Reports - Atlanta's Best Picks. By the time he was done, we felt comfortable and saw how invested he was in working with us. We approved the quote and he did exactly what he said he would do. We are confident that our paint will last since he used top of the line Sherwin Williams paint and paid attention to every detail. Definitely 5 star service and work.
