When we receive an inquiry about a potential project, the first step is to learn more about it. We'll ask you - either on the phone or via email - about the size and scope of the project, its location, your desired start date, your project goals, and the approximate budget. If it seems like we'd be a good fit for you and your project, the next step is to meet in person at your property to get to know you and your house. If after that meeting there is a mutual desire to continue the process, we'll help you with the pre-construction planning.
We got our start over 25 years ago restoring some of New England's oldest and most beautiful homes. We are now widely recognized as one of the region's most trusted resources for old home renovations and restorations. Landmark was one of the first firms in the area to switch to spray foam insulation in lieu of fiberglass almost 20 years ago.
Building science and best practices for the built environment have come a long way in the last 20 years. It is now possible to create beautiful, energy positive homes for just a small premium over the cost of a conventional code house. Off-site and modular construction have made the building process faster and more predictable than ever before.
Steve and Elissa had already faithfully restored their 18th-century main house in Weston and now wanted to add some fun to the property. They chose to build a new timber-framed barn on the site of their old barn. Our clients knew they had found their dream home the minute they laid eyes on it. The exterior may have fallen into disrepair, but the interior millwork was largely untouched and simply magnificent.
