Richard Weixel build our home in Mandeville in 2001. We were new to the process and, I am sure, required every ounce of patience he had. We initially trusted him because he lived in the neighborhood where we built and was just an honest and straightforward guy from day 1. As we embark on building a new home in another state, we have lately been reminiscing about our first build and how that experience, despite my being pregnant and sick the entire build, made us long to build again one day.
Our home was exactly as we asked. Richie was great at keeping everything on time and keeping us updated. He had an almost 6th sense of knowing what to suggest. We ended up building the first floor plan he suggested even though we went through tons of plans. The house has great curb appeal to this day and lots of extras we longed for when we moved out of state.
I realized that at the time of our build, online reviews weren't as much of a "thing" and wanted to make sure I came and put one in for our first and always favorite builder Richie.
