Services
National Construction was founded in 1989 by Harris Blankenship. Prior to starting National Construction, Inc., Harris worked for four other construction companies, working his way up from being an estimator. We work primarily in commercial construction. Safety and quality workmanship are our primary concerns.
Renovations are a specialty for us. Over the years we have performed many school renovations during the summer, on time and without impact on the normal school activities. We have performed several renovations in occupied buildings. In instances where the building must be used during construction we work very closely with the owner to create the smallest disruption possible.
Planet Fitness was a tenant improvement of 15,000 sf. The existing building was gutted and completely rebuilt inside to accommodate the needs of the franchise. Built in 2014-2015 with a total of 65,000 sf. This is a modern, single story, multi-wing school containing all the elements necessary to provide a solid elementary level education.
This project encompassed about 17,000 square feet and renovated showers in the natatorium, and gym areas, added offices to the natatorium, and renovated the basketball court, weight room, wrestling room and surrounding areas, new roofing materials and some site work. This was completed in 2021. Renovation, in 3 phases to plumbing systems that included DWV, piping, fixtures and equipment.
