Projected a date and it's been 8 months late and still racking up tardy time. I feel abused as a customer. Can't give accurate dates and I am a renter buying my first home. No rent contract means I pay double rent month to month. It's unprofessional and frankly it's rude. Time is money.

Critical: Professionalism Bad experience with Armstrong homes has nothing been but trouble with this company mixing up lots putting the wrong houses on lots has been nothing but a headache from the start with this company

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Complete halt on communication, return calls, emails concerning the literal walk away from working on the house. Extremely unprofessional. It feels like the company is non existent after signing the contract.

My wife and I had a home built by Armstrong. The issue I had with them was during construction of the home, they installed a high-performance septic system, which cost several thousands of dollars above the regular septic system which was included in the base price of the home, without consulting with my wife and I first. Armstrong's rep was claiming that the county was requiring it, even though the Florida DEP hadn't approved a basin map requirement for that area yet and we would have had the ability to challenge the county's faulty determination but never got the chance thanks to Armstrong unilaterally deciding to just put the high-performance septic system in and passing the costs along to us.

The reason they're getting two stars instead of one is that they accidentally cleared our adjoining property in preparation for building our house, rather than the property the house now sits on, so we got that done for free thanks to their ineptitude. Structurally our house has had no issues, so far, but after reading some of the other comments in this thread I'll wait for that shoe to fall.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness This company's customer service is practically nonexistent. I signed a contract to have a home build and later on in the process I was referred to Sam Sofia whom ignored my requests for assistance and even failed to sign extension. Then when you call for help you are stone walled by her receptionist Martha

Armstrong, recently built a house in Ocala. i own the lot next to the new house that was built. Armstrong placed a dumpster on our lot. During Construction. Without permission we are in the process of building. We reside in Philadelphia. i had no problem with the dumpster. The problem is they left debris on our lot. Now the HOA.Is requesting that it be remove @ our cost.

When in fact we didn't leave it there. I have called numerous times. Spoke to the receptionist. According, to her, she email the owner his reply was a NO GO. Why should i have to pay to remove debris left by Armstrong, I have pictures & video. All we are asking Armstrong is to do the right thing & remove the debris that was left on our lot. More bad reviews will continue if they cant honor there wrong doing.

If I could choose zero stars I certainly would. They are building just south of Majestic Oaks and it is all dirt. So today we have wind gusts and the dirt is blowing right into the neighborhood. I have contacted them in the past about having a water truck out there to keep the dust down. I have had to have my lanai and my pool cleaned several times in the last couple months. Usually I only have to do that once a year. I think all of us having to deal.with this and pay to have houses washed and pools cleaned should send them a bill.

I sent them a contact request April 23 on their website. A week later I called and not having gotten a response, and have called twice a week ever since as well as sent a other contact request on their website. Each time in told someone will reach out to me, and each time several days pass before I call again. I've also tried calling the numbers for their communities which all go to the same number; a number that does not accept voicemails, and tells you Mike will respond to your text or your email.

You can only get his text and email if someone calls you back in the month that you've been contacting them, though. This company doesn't respond. I can not imagine how upset this must make people who have tied up their investments in a home with them.

WORST COMPANY EVER! I use this builders and I do not recommend them. It's a custom home. I did my closing in Nov/2/2020 Today is 12/29/20202 not even 2 months and I called the electricians more than 5 times! The electricity keep giving me problems parts of the house with out electricity all the time and their excuse is that I have to many things and that's why I have a electricity problem, that I would need to re wire the complete house if I don't want anymore electricity problema, the Same things (items)I have in my previous house and never had a electricity problem. Cabinets we're wrong installed since the beginning I told them and it's been a nightmare to fix it.

They gave me so many excuses! Until today they are not finish to fix my cabinets still waiting on parts and still giving me excuses because they do not want to removed a part that was installed knowing that the part was broken, I noticed and tell them and they said oh it's just a little thing and we covered with glue and paint. Ehhh no I do not pay to have a broken cabinets installed and then tell me that I will not see that, because they covered with paint.

I am paying for my house and I want a good cabinets to be good for long time not for a few years and then had to put a new ones because what ever they put broken since the beginning. The door locks came out of the door by using them. Also they charge me $1,035 dollars for a 3x3 piece of concrete because since the time that I signed my contract the concrete increase in price and I have to pay that. Well if I continue I will not end. DO NOT CONTRACT THIS COMPANY EVER! That's my best advice to you!

Had a home built by Armstrong and went with them because they have been around a while. Well, all they cared about was the money I had to pay for it in full and not worry about nothing else. After the house was built had problems and not evening building the same house everything was different. Also, started to charge you for stuff that you were not suppose to pay for, Septic problems and everything.

The realtor could have told me to not pay for the house in full and finance some of it, because I wasn't aware of what the process was and what I should have done. Not happy at all, its a shame because I love the fact of having my own house and we wind up selling it after 5 years. Never again will I go with them, I know better now.
