Tim was responsive to our inquiry and offered flexible scheduling. He completed a thorough, patient, and informative inspection of our single family home. We found Tim easy to work with as he answered all of our questions and promptly completed a detailed report that aided in negotiations for needed repairs and allowed us to continue moving quickly toward finalizing the purchase contract.

My wife and I hired Tim to inspect the house we are buying. He was professional, thorough, and comprehensive. He answered all of my questions as best he could, let us know what we should address first in terms of maintenance issues and recommended we get professional opinions and cost estimates where applicable. He took time to video chat with us after the inspection to address further questions. This is my first experience with home inspections, but I was left with no complaints. I would definitely recommend him or hire him again.

HomeView inspected for our purchase of our 1940 Cape in Portsmouth and it was well worth both the time ( I spent 3 hours observing ) and the cost as we immediately used the clearly reported information to have work done by the seller and to make allowances for future repairs. This saved us big jing.

A recent inspection on our property was done carelessly with negative impacts: incorrect assessments were included in the report; a shutter was broken during inspection in an upstairs bedroom and not reported to us, but left leaning; an attempted move of a corner-joined bureau left the top separated; a stack of vintage fruit boxes in the barn was "tossed" aside to get to a corner; and most serious, a sharp carpenter's plane which was stored on an upper shelf was carelessly left on a box on the floor where my first grader found it and played with it. I hope there are no more issues ahead.
