TnT built a large deck cover onto our house. Started when they said they would and did a great job. Finished quickly and left very little mess. Billed exactly as quoted. It is beautiful and we have received a lot of compliments on it.

I have had multiple issues since TNT builders installed a cover over my back deck. The first issue was that I thought it was leaking. Because they had installed the bolts, incorrectly (did not follow the vendor instructions), and put the bolts in the valleys instead of on the hills, and this is known to increase the chances of leakage, I was certain that the little puddles of water were leakage.

This turned out to be a condensation issue. The material they told me was a good choice for the cover has a major problem with condensation in the winter. They were not aware of the issue either or when we started trying to find the reason for the water dripping, they would have quickly figured out it was a condensation issue. I eventually figured it out and told them.

It has since started actually leaking in a few spots. According to the vendor the warranty is void since the product is not installed correctly The next issue is my concern that the SunTuf product was installed upside down. This is definitely the case if it came pre-drilled. But I don't know if it did or not. It does not seem to be blocking the UV rays as the product is supposed to do.

This would be a side effect of the product being installed upside down. But I have no way of knowing for certain. I really wish I knew because if I knew for sure the panels were upside down, I would hire someone to turn them all around, and this would fix the issue of the bolts being in the valleys instead of on the hills. One of the 4 support posts is starting to crack and crush.

I know why this is happening. Initially there was a slight gap between the main beam supporting the weight, and the other three support posts. I thought the metal brackets were taking care of the actual support, so I wasn't concerned with these gaps. But these gaps are now gone, and the one post that had no gap is cracking, crushing and warping.

But it isn't getting any worse. There was an issue with the flashings around the posts that were connected to my roof. I noticed water getting under my roof tiles and dripping down behind the gutter. I had my roof inspected by a roofer, who indicated he suspected the flashing on one of the posts supporting the deck cover. I was getting a new roof anyway, so I just got new flashings with it.

I was told that painting was cosmetic only, so I opted not to paint. But due to the major condensation issue a lot of water is getting on the beams that hold the SunTuf panels. I didn't know until after I had hired them that my down payment was not covering materials at all, but that these were not going to be paid for until they were completely finished and collected the final payment, and that a lien against my house would be issued, by the company supplying the materials, if they were not paid.

Basically ALL risk was transferred to me. I do give them some credit for early attempts to fix the leaking issue I thought I had. I suspect that they did not know about the condensation issue or they would have figured out that this was the issue before I finally did.

When we were starting the process of planning for building our new patio cover, from the very beginning we were most impressed with TnT Builders willingness to work with us in developing a patio cover that fit our needs and budget, as well as complimenting our home and landscape. The construction crew were most professional and building our patio cover during COVID was not easy, but they complied with the regulations and were conscientious of their safety as well as ours. We love our patio cover and it looks fabulous! I highly recommend TnT Builders Inc. for your construction dreams come true!

I've had both front and back decks replaced with Trex decking by TnT and the quality of both decks is really top notch. Trent worked with me to solve problems and adjust construction to keep things on track and finish the projects in a timely manner for the agreed price. It took quite a bit of back and forth to nail down the details before construction began and I think that could have gone smoother but the quality of the work kept me coming back.

TnT did an amazing job on our new deck! Very professional, communicative, friendly, and their work is top quality. TnT's price was also very fair (we got quotes from a handful of companies), and turned out to be a great value considering the great work they did. Plus, they showed up when they said they would, and once construction started the whole thing was done in about a week, just like they said.

I have a beautiful new porch! TnT is a very friendly group of people to work with. Ludly and Matt did a great job of problem solving removing the old deck and incorporating the new deck on to an old house. Old houses are always quirky, and Ludly considered the issues and came up with creative solutions that made for a beautiful and solid deck that surpassed my expectations. Thanks also to Darcy for adapting additions I wanted to make.

We hired TNT Builders to put a nice patio cover over our 10 x 20 patio. They were real booked up and it took a long time to get on their schedule but when they finally got the job scheduled, it went really well. Their people were courteous and professional and the finished project is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We will be enjoying our covered patio for years to come.

TnT Builders built us a fine looking cedar deck with custom planter boxes and benches. We very much appreciate their high quality craftsmanship, efficient team work, and responsiveness to our questions and design needs.
