My 3,000-square-foot log home was in desperate need of refinishing inside and out. It had never been caulked, the interior had never been sealed, and the exterior stain had long-since faded such that the logs were beginning to deteriorate from sun damage. I met and got quotes from a number of log restoration companies before choosing TSS. My decision was based on their knowledge and recommendations of the proper way to clean, stain, and caulk the interior and exterior.
Their detailed estimate was competitive (significantly less than several of the bids but not the cheapest) and I felt they would do the best job. I could not have been more pleased with the work. Ken, Roni, Kevin and the rest of the team were extremely professional. They were on time, draped the interior and were very careful working around furniture during all phases of the interior work.
They used scaffolding around the exterior to ensure they could reach all areas carefully. In my opinion, they treated my house as it it was theirs. The work was very thorough and the results outstanding. This was a multi-week project with the interior done in the winter and the exterior in the spring. The team cleaned up and put everything away at the end of each day and was very flexible working around our schedule to minimize the impact to us during the project.
They even brought their own porta potty! They also found a few areas in need of repair, including a rotting facia board had deck railings which they replaced, as well as adding copper caps to the deck columns. I highly recommend TSS for log finishing and repair!
