This company is amazing! We enjoyed working with them every step of the way. We have an old, quirky house (crooked floors, walls, etc.) that caused a few plans to change mid-project. The team rolled with each unique issue seamlessly, coming up with solutions quickly and collaboratively. Not only is our finished product wonderful but the people were truly a pleasure to work with and have in our home. Kind, caring, dependable, trustworthy people are a rarity these days and that is what we experienced with Plekkenpol. I would highly recommend this company and hire them again for future projects.

We hired Plekkenpol for our remodel and were extremely happy with the results. Ryan provided ideas and creative solutions upon our first initial visits and a detailed scope up front which provided us comfort on what was being agreed to and helped clearly set the expectations for the job. The craftsmanship from the guys who did the job was amazing and their attention to detail was impressive. Ryan and crew were very responsive and always willing to answer our questions throughout the process! We are so happy with the end result. We felt respected as customers and it was a breeze of a process to work with Plekkenpol from start to finish.

Plekkenpol Builders were an excellent company to work with on the addition to our home. We had a large addition and competitively bid the project across several builders. Plekkenpol won the bid and our confidence with dedicated crews, high integrity and an excellent track record and experience. They got the job done right. Plekkenpol Builders partnered with Make-a-Wish to make my daughter her dream bathtub. She was on hospice and very ill, relaxing in the water was so therapeutic to her. The bathroom in our living quarters had no tub and the upstairs tub was very shallow. With her bath chair ( she is unable to sit alone ) only her legs and toes could be in the water. Pam the designer created a beautiful design that included a changing table and storage for my daughters medical supplies.
They added a tub in a space we didn't think was possible. It's deep enough for her to fully enjoy and large enough for me to get in and help her. The project was done quickly, much faster than estimated. This was so appreciated as we thought her time with us was running short. All of the staff were respectful of our situation, so kind and caring, and interested in her health status.
They went above and beyond to create this relaxing retreat! Several months later my daughter received a transplant and has spent many more happy hours in her giant bath tub which continues to be very beneficial to her in many ways! Thank you Plekkenpol Builders! We will be soon reaching out to Plekkenpol Builders to add a ceiling lift and larger door to the bathroom. We are really looking forward to working with them on the project.

We have hired Plekkenpol Builders to do multiple small and large projects over the last 30 + years. Our experience with them has always been A+. Our most recent project was a very challenging lower level bathroom expansion. They came up with a design we didn't even think was possible. The finished product far exceeded our expectations! Their designers are so creative and helpful.
The staff and crew members are always a pleasure to work with. They are professional, friendly, courteous and respectful, always keeping us informed, staying on schedule and staying within the budget. Dear Plekkenpol, My wife and I wish to thank you for all of the wonderful work you have done for us over the last ten years. You have completed several projects for us, both large and small. In our first home, a traditional 1924 built Colonial, you did a complete kitchen makeover, taking it down to the studs and adding a first floor bathroom. The results was amazing and in keeping with our home's traditional style. Subsequently you again worked your magic, this time doing a complete update of our second floor bathroom.
The result was transformative. Several years later, when we went to sell our home, the realtor commented on the work that had been done as well as the importance of having had such a reputable remodeler as Plekkenpol do the work. Our home sold without even needing an Open House. When we bought our second home and the kitchen needed remodeling it was Plekkenpol we called.
Again the results were just what we had hoped for. It is also important to note that Plekkenpol has done major remodeling work for three of my siblings as well. All of them are very satisfied and some have had several projects completed by Plekkenpol. Your staff is the best from start to finish. Jim Kuzzy has always been our point of contact person.
He is quick to respond and easy to work with. He has wonderful design ideas and takes the time to really listen to what the customer is saying. Reno has been the main project coordinator working with us. From day one he has always been available for any question. He gives you his cell phone number and answers it directly. His knowledge and skills as a craftsman are unmatched plus he is a great guy to work with.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Plekkenpol Builders from start to finish. Efficient, friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, highly skilled--all words I would use to describe Plekkenpol Builders to others! We were excited to start the work and were consistently pleased throughout the process with the crew, the quality of work and the communication from Erik Mahin (project manager), Jamie Olinger (production supervisor) and every one of their crew members.
The budget we agreed on (scope of work and cost of that work) was what the cost of the work was at the end--no hidden costs, no upcharges on their end from work agreed on from the start. I would definitely recommend Plekkenpol Builders to others and we look forward to using them again in the future.

We have been very happy with 3 remodels including new windows, a new kitchen, and a bathroom floor repair. The team at Plekkenpol listen well, but also steer you to better choices than you originally desired. Jobs are completed on schedule and as expected. They are committed to keeping the best of the old - and then updating with long term, classic ideas. I recommend them highly.
