Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality My in-laws bought a home through these builders and had nothing but issues. Their bathroom and kitchen were not completed by the time they closed. Salespeople care about getting the models and lots sold but then show little compassion for issues that occur after closing. Would not recommend.

Used to work for "Double A" that were subcontractors for the company and must say whatever were done at construction sites was of really solid standards. I was really happy every time I when assigned to work directly for Site Supervisors. We were at most "closings" and people/customers seemed really happy with the "final product".

My first home was a J.S. Hovnanian & Sons home. I've since moved out of state but each time I moved, I used the education I received from them during the construction process to ensure the builder lived up to the same level of quality I received from J.S. Hovnanian & Sons. And having been through the new home construction process with another builder, I can attest that J.S. Hovnanian & Sons has a phenomenal process to keep the buyer informed and on track from start to finish. Can't say enough positive things.
