I was very pleased with the gentlemen and their workmanship during the repair of my basement wall. The men were respectful of me and each other. Amen! Many companies now claim to control your basement water problems by spraying the interior of your foundation and installing a baseboard system. But water control systems are able only to reroute the water entering your basement. The baseboard system directs water toward a drain or sump pump pit in the basement without alleviating water, dampness or moisture from entering the basement.

My husband & I would like to thank the Basten Team for the excellent job done on our main bath remodel, 1st floor laundry room build, and siding projects! The Team answered all our questions and concerns, and were respectful of our home and pet. Billings and Subcontractors were managed promptly by Denise and Matt, so that we had no worries! We would definitely recommend Basten Construction to anyone!

I strongly recommend Basten Construction. We had a drain in our driveway that had sunk in such a manner that water (and thus ice) was pooling around it. We also had a leak in our basement. I was impressed with Matt when he came to do the estimate, because he seemed to know exactly how to fix the problems. He raised concerns about "matching" the driveway.
He wanted to be sure I would be happy with how it would look. Rainy weather delayed the project, but they kept me informed. When they came to do the project, it became apparent that they would not need to tear out as much concrete as Matt had originally predicted. They could have done the project as bid and made more money. Instead we saved a lot of money and the driveway looks great and works great.
The basement leak proved to have more rot then anticipated, costing a bit more to repair the damage, but no delays in fixing it. It too looks great and works great. One more item that really impressed me. It became apparent that there was another issue with the drain. Once again, Matt could have just done the proposal as bid, but he wanted to solve our problems with the drain.
He took the time to find the problem, found competent people to fix it and without any delay. The workmen were not only friendly, but also and, more importantly, knowledgeable, experienced and thinking people. They were solving problems not just doing a job. I could not be happier about the whole experience.

Having previously lived here for ten years we moved back to Green Bay after being gone for 39 years. We asked around and got three bids in order to get some basement repairs done. Basten's was the most reasonable bid for what we had to accomplish. They did an outstanding job on our basement repairs. In fact their work was so professional that we contacted them about the construction of a four season porch.
In my 78 years, after building four different homes in different parts of the country, I have not seen more professional work. Our porch is outstanding and all of our friends ask "who did this beautiful work for you". My response, "Denise, Matt and Company from Basten". Thanks so much for the enjoyment we now have.
