How do we describe our Chief Operating Officer, Bryan Sipple? Let's just say he was born to be a builder! As a 4th generation carpenter, there was never a doubt that he would go on to a successful career in the construction industry. While working with his grandfather and father since age 12, they instilled in him the discipline and drive that he possesses today.
We built a home with Classic and had a great experience. The staff was helpful and courteous. They helped us make selections for our home while keeping us on budget. Our home was done quickly and on time. The whole process was smooth and seamless, so smooth that we decided to have them finish our basement as well.
At Classic Custom Homes of Waunakee, we pride ourselves on having two of the best in-house draftspeople on our staff. You will work closely with our draftsman to design your perfect home. They work together on many projects to turn around your plan in a timely and efficient manner. This is unique to Classic Custom Homes as many other builders use contract employees to design your home, which may not actually be a part of their team and therefore not accountable for all the details.This can end up delaying the design or build process and can add undue costs to you for a home that may or may not be "custom" or a one-of-a-kind home.

We have now built two homes with CCH, and are exceedingly satisfied with their commitment to quality. Each employee with whom we've interacted has communicated clearly, making it easy to collaborate on the project. The company is a great size: large enough and with enough experience to quickly and efficiently handle issues that inevitably arise, but small enough to maintain low overhead costs and to allow you to form relationships with the people building your home.

We are mid way through the process of building a home with Classic Custom Homes of Waunakee. We have never built a home before so this is a new experience. Everyone at Classic has been extremely responsive to our questions and helpful. We have made several drastic changes in the type of home we wanted to build and they couldn't have been more understanding and supportive. Additionally, they have been very transparent about costs. My husband and I are very pleased with our choice of builders.

We could not have been happier with our experience with Classic Custom Homes of Waunakee during the purchase of one of their spec homes (in the midst of a global pandemic, no less!). They were helpful, timely, and thorough in all of our questions and requests. We were particularly impressed with how organized their manager, Tim, was during our final walk-through, and Nicole was in responding to our emails and all of our questions. Jennie, the selling realtor, was quick to respond to us, and helpful in addend-ing a mistake in paperwork from our realtor.
In addition to providing outstanding services to us for their own work, they were able to connect us with a few other companies for discounted rates in the purchase of some other home-essentials (thanks, Bryan!). Lastly, I should mention this was the first time we've *ever* purchased a home; I anticipated a much more stressful experience based on friends having purchased homes, and CCH alleviated much of the "unknowns" I was expecting. If you're reading this review, I wholeheartedly recommend working with CCH.

This is the third house we've built, so we're very familiar with the process and thought we knew what to expect. However, Classic Custom homes surprised us by making everything extremely easy. Everyone we worked with from the main office to the craftspeople who worked on the house were dedicated to making sure they delivered a quality product that we can be proud of for years to come. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning on building a new home. You won't be disappointed.

We built our home with Classic Custom Homes three years ago. We spoke with many builders, mainly at the Parade of Homes, but Brian, at Classic, stood out because he listened to ME, he talked to ME, not just my husband. I went to school for Interior Design, so I probably knew a bit more more than the average person about what I wanted, and needed in a house.
It was very important, to both my husband and me, that we found a builder who wouldn't always look to my husband for decisions, who would listen to my concerns and desires, and Brian did. The staff at Custom was always quick to return phone calls, always very friendly and helpful. I designed our home myself, and the Classic staff were happy to work with me and, with a few tweaks, like opening our kitchen ceiling up to include the attic window.amazing!, I got to watch my design be built from the ground up, an experience I will never forget!
They even included a few things, that Brian later confessed to be hesitant about, without question (he admitted that they turned out nice and added to the design :) ). When we had a leaky toilet in our master bathroom, Classic was quick to come in and fix it, as well as replacing all of the luxury vinyl in the bathroom, which thankfully wasn't necessary.
I've heard, from many people, that building a home is stressful, but we didn't find it to be at all. I've also met very few, if any, people who would use the same builder again. We definitely would use Classic again, if we ever built in the area. The only bad thing, in my opinion, with having our home finished, is not having an excuse to stop in at the office, visit with the dogs, and say "hi". We thoroughly enjoyed our building experience, and highly recommend Classic Custom Homes to anyone wanting a quality built, beautiful home, with a great experience!

Choosing Classic Custom Homes to build our Dream Home was the best decision we could have made! We bought a property on Lake Mendota and had a basic set of plan for the home. We interviewed three well-known builders who specialize in larger custom homes and were most impressed with Bryan and his team at CCCH. We were most impressed with their systematic and professional approach to the building process.
The other two builders had given us a build time of around 2 years. Bryan's team completed the project in 8 months, with more attention to detail and craftsmanship that we expected. I cannot remember a day during the week when somebody was not working on the home. It was also common to run into contractors at the home even on the weekend. Their bid also came in significantly less than the other two builders.
We liked his approach to bidding every aspect of our project out to three vendors and taking the most competitive bid. Some contractors were recognizable names to us, some were not, but the quality of people we met was impressive. It was great getting to know the craftsmen who were working on our home. Bryan and his team made us feel as if ours was the only home they were building.
The whole team at CCCH was wonderful to work with, extremely accessible and the very best at what they did. Bruce helped a great deal with fine tuning our plans and made probably 60 revisions to our plan in the initial couple months of our build. Always eager and excited to get the revisions completed and back to us for review. Brea made the selection process fun and so easy for us.
She was always prepared at each meeting and did all the background work so we could focus on the fun part of making the selections. She also worked seamlessly with our Interior Designer, which is often difficult to do. Jennie made the money side of this totally transparent and very easy to keep up with. Their online system for tracking draws, change order and overall costs made it extremely easy.
And of course, Bryan. It was very clear to us from the beginning the Bryan is one of those rare people who is extremely good at what they do. He clearly has a talent for building homes and building teams. Having a builder who will work that hard for you and making sure everything is being done correctly, on time and under budget made this project rewarding for us. Deciding to build a new home was an intimidating process, but based on our experience with CCH we will do it the exact same way next time. Bryan and his team were very easy to work with and offered valuable insight as we went through the building process for the first time. Our interior design expert, Brea, was fantastic. She offered advice that kept us in budget and resulted in a home that we really enjoy. From modifications to the original design, to decorating tips, to closing out items on the punch list the whole team at CCH has been extremely responsive and helpful.

Classic Custom Homes is a first rate builder. We love our new home that Bryan and his crew designed and built. Every attention to detail is there and we could not be more proud. We searched for a long time for a builder that we could trust and who would deliver within our budget and within the time frame they promised. We have been in our home for one year now. First, let me say that the build process was a great experience with CCH. We came in on budget and moved in 3 weeks sooner than expected. Bryan has an immense amount of knowledge about home building and also something that both my wife and I were even more impressed with, a great listening ear. With all the projects going on, never once did he forget a discussion we had about details.
After all, building a house is details, details, and more details. Everything he said he would do happened, sometimes that is hard to find these days. His team inside is just as valuable. Nicole and Jennie were on our project and what they get done in a day amazes me, they really know how to get things down the line. Secondly, I waited to write my review because I personally felt that the 1 year warranty offered was a crucial part of the overall contract and process and can really say a lot about a contractor. Lets be realistic, things are going to come up during that first year, but what happens next is the key. Every last item was addressed timely and to our satisfaction, above and beyond in some cases. If we ever build again, we will do it with them, that speaks volumes!
