We charge a $125 diagnostic fee. This fee covers many quick fixes that do not require additional parts, refrigerant, etc. If your technician needs to order a part or conduct a more major repair, he/she will provide you with a detailed estimate for you to review and approve before work begins. We understand that heating and cooling purchases are not always convenient.

Current A/C maintenance service on 6/2/22 advised air handler not functioning at normal efficiency and coil needs replacing, but most economical solution to replace air handler and outside compressor unit. Advised unit was not registered and therefore not covered. Contacted original installer Conditioned Air and units were registered. Sent technician William promptly who thoroughly check both units and determined that the air handler was operating efficiently, and that coil was rusted but not leaking. Also found valve and caps on outside compressor not tightened and as a result refrigerant was escaping and low. Very thorough and professional assessment.

Installation of new system and ducting in Dec 2021. On Sunday, May 30th, 2022 Josh came and re-configured the condensate line for better efficiency and performed the 6-month maintenance a week early. Josh was an absolute professional! Extremely meticulous, patient and courteous. He explained everything he was doing along the way and I was confident the work service was done right. With technicians of this caliber, I can see why Conditioned Air has the stalwart reputation in the industry in SW Florida. Great job Josh and thank you!

I was very pleased that Conditioned Air was able to schedule a service call on very short notice. The technician was knowledgeable and efficient. Tried getting routine service and get into a contract with them. I was advised my service request would be four month from when I call crazy. I asked how fast is emergency service with a contract I was advised 5 days.

We have been in Florida for a couple of years and when we bought our home, the previous owners recommended this company. Our first service call was when our AC abruptly stopped working in the late afternoon. Daniel was assigned our service call and despite the late notice, arrived that evening with a smile on his face and quickly had us up and running again. Daniel has since returned to preform regular maintenance on our heating and cooling system.

The builder of my home used Conditioned Air to originally install my air conditioner. I have been using Conditioned Air ever since to conduct semi-annual maintenance inspections. On my most recent inspection Dewayne and another employee who was in training came out for the service. Even though I have been Satisfied with other employees in the past, Dewayne was the best.

He was very thorough and explained everything to me. He went above and beyond my highest level of expectations. I can only hope that the employee that he was training turns out to just like him. I highly recommend Conditioned Air and most especially recommend Dewayne as a service technician.

I had an emergency AC issue at our new home in Fort Myers and called Conditioned Air. Within an hour, a service rep was at our home and got the first phase of the project under way. A second rep came out later in the day to complete the job. Michael and Joe were courteous, responsive and did a great job. I'm glad to have Conditioned Air in my corner!

Brandon arrived on time. Happy professional technician. He conducted scheduled maintenance on air conditioner. He informed me of an issue. Discussed the situation with me & I agreed it was best to replace part. He did a great job. System works perfectly & I am confident my air conditioner will preform as it should. The tech was prompt. He found the issue and fixed it. The service call was also for a system maintenance covered under our contract. The tech told me numerous times that he had completed the maintenance portion and all was good. He said I would get a listing of all of the voltages, etc. that I had received the last time the maintenance was perform.

He did not clean or replace any of the return filters and when I called back in the next day, I was told that he had not performed the maintenance. I will not be using this particular tech again but will request the original tech do my maintenance and service. Update: Conditioned Air corrected all issues and I do not foersee any issues going forward.

On January 21, 2022, Conditioned Air sent technician Peter Ruiz to complete a 6 month air condition maintenance on my home air condition. Peter arrived on time and did a thorough job completing the maintenance. When Peter was finished he explained what services that were completed as well as the results. Also, Peter completed maintance on two other air conditions at different residences that are part of the air condition contract that I have with Conditioned Air.

For the other two air conditions Peter again was very thorough and explained everything really well. Thank you Conditioned Air for completing a superior job on all three of my air condition units. Sincerely, Jim Silvia

We would give conditioned air a negative star if offered. Bought a new build home in Del Webb, March 2019. The AC unit, a Lennox, was installed by Conditioned Air. we signed up for a 10 year warranty. In December 20 21 the fan motor inside the unit would not turn off. we called conditioned air because it's under warranty and the tech came out and said the fan motor was bad and it needed to be replaced.

The service call was $125 and he was here about 20 minutes. of course the warranty only covers the labor for two years. The next tech comes out and replaces the fan motor. My husband asked for the motor he had just removed and the tech told him no he could not have it. Reason why, conditioned air will send it back to the factory for a new replacement.

So he handed us a bill for $399 for labor only. It took the tech less than an hour to replace the fan so why would I pay the first guy $125 for half hour and this guy $399 for less than one hour. Conditioned air is a rip off would never recommend or use them again. They can take that so-called warranty and shove it where the sun can't shine. What good is a warranty when you get raped for the labor charges. Installed new AC unit in 20212 and been under service contract since. Repair personnel always courteous, efficient and knowledgable. One instance of an emergency repair during summer, over July 4 holiday weekend, that took more time to schedule and have done than desired. Lack of service during the holiday period and delay in ordering needed part came into play.

Conditioned Air is absolutely my go-to for all of our AC needs. When we bought our first home in this area, the existing air conditioning system was old, but working, and they took care to maintain it and keep it working well without any pressure to replace anything unnecessarily. This integrity made them my first call when we needed to replace the entire system for our upcoming sale, and they will be maintaining our new home's system.

Everyone I worked with was professional, on time, courteous and consistent. I love that they took care of all the permitting, paperwork, warranties etc - I haven't had to deal with any of that. The spider crane they used to replace our outdoor system was very impressive and everyone worked seamlessly to get the job done. Each tech took care of my property, and they put down very high quality floor coverings during the install job. Chris, Kevin and crew were extremely professional and a joy to interact with. Jason (sales) came out to give me the estimate and made sure I had a full understanding of the scope of work and all the options.

If you're looking for the highest professionalism, no short cuts, no pressure or salesy language, and just an overall great experience for a necessary home expense- I would not hesitate to recommend Conditioned Air!

The AC went down in one of my clients homes. We called to have a technician come out. They came the next day and diagnosed the problem. I was not able to work with the return schedule that was offered. I asked to speak to a supervisor. waiting for that call back now. UPDATE: Jeremy called back very quickly. They accommodated my scheduling constraints and are going to meet me this afternoon to take care of this issue! I am pleasantly surprised. Customer service like this doesn't happen often. GREAT JOB GUYS!

Not customer focused; defensive; not responsive - have to continually reach out to them; charge for labor before work done; misdiagnose. Card charged immediately. Not sure if refund can be put on card - may have to get a check. Wonder how long that will take! Do not recommend. It's now 5/19. I just learned my "check" will be mailed out 5/27. So. they were paid for labor ($399) BEFORE the job was done (which we didn't need--misdiagnosed).

They charged my credit card immediately at my home on 5/6. When we cancelled this work due to ac worked once cut off switch outside was plugged back in, we were told they aren't able to credit the $399 back to my credit card (labor not ever done). I have to wait for a check. And they only send checks out once a month. So.they make an error - I pay for work before completed and I have to wait a month for a refund. You decide if this is good business and a company you want to deal with. No thank you!

A good company getting too big! Have used them for 16 years on multiple homes. Over those years, there has been changes in government regulations, changes in types of Freon used, discounts and plans. Revolving business makes the world and I understand that. More recently, there are tactics being used that I'm suspicious about - low on freon, system is old, leak test expensive, not worth doing and so on.

All I can do is relay message to owners who of course are nervous of their home being left without air. I have come across some awful AC companies, this was not one of them. Not so sure any more.

Terrible company, terrible service! The unit was installed a little over a year ago. The a/c has not worked at least 5 times in the last 5 months.every time I call them it takes them at least 1-2 days to come out and it's always a huge time slot (noon-8pm) and the service guy always shows up near the end of the time frame. Tonight is the 5th time it's broken in 5 months, last time was 2 weeks ago & the service guy "promised" me it was fixed and would work just fine from then forward. Well, nope, here we are 2 weeks later and I'm still waiting at 8:30pm for a service guy to show up on the 2nd day after calling. Device guys are nice, but the company as a whole really sucks! Don't use this company! You will regret it.

I wanted to do a contract for maintenance and called them up and they wanted my credit card number and I gave it. Two days later my credit card got hacked!. I hadn't used my card much before and hadn't used it in the 2 days. I called to inform them that they might have a problem there. All I wanted them to do is tell me they would check on it and get back to me.

The receptionist wasn't very friendly or helpful so I asked to talk with a manager and then I talked with VP Tim Russell and he was the worst of them all! For a Christian company they aren't very Christian!

Told me I needed a brand new system. $11,500 So I called another company to get a second opinion. It turned out that the technician unplugged the power outside to the compressor. The second company plugged it back in & charged me $79 for a service call. Do NOT call these guys!

I have used Conditioned Air for many years for service and repairs to HVAC system. A/C went out during the COVID-19 panic. I suffer from respiratory issues and had asked technician to please wear a mask while inside my home. I stated I would provide him with an N95 mask sealed in a sterile wrap. He absolutely went crazy and become belligerent to my request as he stated I am not dealing with this Biohazard bullsh**t, and then storms off to "call my manager about this".

About three minutes later he just leaves and drives off with no explanation and no repairs to my A/C. He didn't even come inside. Should you live in the Aqualane Shores or Royal Harbor neighborhood then I have uploaded this to the Ring Community for you to see and hear his meltdown over my calm and polite request, with explanation about my respiratory issues (which is an ADA violation) and he simply freaked out. Now, with respiratory issues I have waited more than 24 hours for them to come out and now I have to find someone else who will come out.

And after using this company for this many years I am disgusted at how I was treated. In addition, he broke my hose reel and left trash all over my front yard. I would avoid these people, their reviews must be purchased based off my experience.

Was not particularly happy with the company I had been using. They nickel and dimed me for parts on a previous repair job 150 bucks for a $30 transformer and then another 150 fora $15 contractor (that were just the parts costs they billed labor was on top of that). I decided to drop that company completely and give Conditioned Air a try when it was time for my regular maintenance.

Service was done on Jan 15,2020 by Michael G. He was very professional and did an extremely thorough job. If his performance is any indication of the quality of service I can expect from this company they'll have me as a customer for life. I'll update this review if/when I have to call them for repair work.

I would give a -1 star if possible. Worst price gougers in SWFL. Do not call. I had a quote from them for $1670 to replace fan motor. Called two other companies and go it done for $930, a $740 difference. Cost of the motor was $580, so they charged approx. $1100 for service/labor. If you want to use a company that takes advantage of clients in need of immediate service or any service, Air Conditioned is the one.

I have changed y review to 2 stars, as I spoke to Chris and he explained their cost strucutre is different than some of the smaller companies. He did refund the $99 diagnostic change, which was appreicated. The follow up to mitigate an unhappy potential client was very good, although they are still not price competitive

Dave came out last week and serviced our AC system. He was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem to be a breaker and he was right. I highly recommend Dave and Conditioned Air.

Had to have the a/c repaired where I am house sitting- from the first phone call to set up the appointment until the paying the bill I am super impressed with this company. You don't usually deal with such professionals here in Florida lol. Rodney the technician was excellent prompt, pleasant & efficient. I would recommend this company to any & all.

Scheduled service on my 2 units 6/30/18, requested 45 minute phone call to get home on my 1 pm appointment. Tech called at 10, said he could be their at 11. I drove 45 minutes to receive a message he was called somewhere else and would be there at 1. Wasted 3 hours of my time, NO I'm sorry. Then the tech spend 4 hours on the 1.5 hour job, with a manager showing up half way through.

He was obviously new and didn't know what he was doing. It was blowing hotter after he left than before he got there. I called and complained, someone else showed up and said it will get better. It never did. I wish I never called them. Now I have to call someone else. Did not respect my time, and did not do a good job! Dan Zavada

Mediocre service a couple years ago. The tech treated me like I was an inconvenience. I am writing this review because I got a robot call at 3am with their reminder that I should need to schedule my seasonal service. If you use them - don't give them your phone number!

Tech was nice and seemed knowledgeable so they get two starts for having a friendly staff. However I needed r22 filled in my air conditioner and my usual company was unavailable. I was told to call conditioner air and ask them to fill 1-2 lbs of r22 just to hold me over till Monday. The woman on the phone informed me that it was a 40$ service call fee and around 50-60$ a lb for the R22. Asked the tech to put 1-2 lbs of r22 into the system and explained the situation and what my normal tech told me to have them do.

The tech from conditioned air then proceeded to put 4lbs or r22 in my system and told me it's 100$ per lb. what I was told would be about a 200$ service cost 440$ on top of that I specifically said multiple times 1-2 lbs max. Prior to him filling it the tech said got it 1-2 lbs. still puts in 4lbs. good job AC company. Got me once. Won't get me again.

Jim Ahlbrandt serviced our a/c unit today. This was just a normal maintenance. Jim was wonderful and I can't say enough good stuff about him. He picked up on some things that others have missed and I really appreciative of that. I couldn't be happier with his work.
