They did a great job in remodeling a bathroom, from our initial meeting to on-time and on-budget work to followup, completion, and the addition of another tile job In second bath. I've done quite a bit of home reno over the years, and by now have dealt with a couple dozen contractors. Garden State is near the top of the list.

We used Garden State Renovations to finish our basement. Marshall was quick to respond to my initial call and provided an estimate at a very reasonable price to us quickly. Once we awarded him the job Marshall was able to start the job in a timely manner. He and his team were attentive to all of the details and were very accommodating to any special requests we had during the process. We couldn't be happier with the finished product and would use Marshall again for any future projects.

We needed our bathroom renovated (gutted!) and had a small window of time to make that happen. Marshall and his crew considered my needs and managed to start quickly and get the job done in a little over two weeks. They were very accommodating. We only have one bathroom and needed our toilet put back in after each work day. They did this for us and we avoided a hefty motel bill. I needed some work done in my basement, specifically painting the concrete floors and walls as well as building a custom staircase to the basement. Marshall and his crew of carpenters and painters finished the job at a reasonable price where my other quotes were substantially higher. I'm happy with the service and quality of work. I had some issues with my New Jersey rental property, specifically it needed a new bathroom and kitchen. Also previous tenant punched holes in the sheet rock walls and scratched my hardwood floors. Marshall and his team made an appointment and actually showed up on time, whereas none of the other contractors I called returned my calls. Marshall spent almost an hour with me detailing what needed to be done specifically suited for a rental property, and under my budget as well.

Two days later I was emailed a professionally typed up free estimate. To make a long story short, I put off the rehab till my tenants leave the premises. But I am giving Garden State Renovations a 5 star rating because they answered my call, were courteous, showed up on time and spent time with me. They gave me a written free estimate and answered up my follow up call. As someone in sales I appreciated it. As soon as the tenants are out I'm giving the home repair work to Garden State Renovations.

It is nice to have finally found a contractor that will show up, listen, and do good work for a reasonable price. Marshall and team did a great job on our basement bathroom. Was polite, available, on time. Did excellent work refinishing my deck and. power washing siding. We spoke about gutter cleaning. For whatever reason was not done but he came back promptly and finished job without complaint. Best of all was reliable. He came when he said- showed up as opposed to other contractors who don't.
