Southern Mechanical Contractors is a merit shop mechanical and industrial construction firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1984, we have performed complete HVAC system, plumbing, process piping, sheet metal, and equipment installations throughout the Southeastern United States. Southern Mechanical Contractors' key management staff has a combined total of over 100 years of successful experience in the industry. Our company performs work for both the private sector and various government agencies.
Our Pre-Construction, Construction, Design, and Service Departments enable us to better serve and understand our customers from day one. Our Pre-Con Director and a team of Estimators are ready to assist with all of your mechanical design/build needs on your project. From budgeting assistance, evaluation of current and future systems, design calculations and DD drawing sets, we're ready to help you get your next project off the ground. With almost four decades of project experience, we have built a reputation for excellence in the field.
We strive to maintain a culture of safety with every operation performed by our employees and subcontractors through a variety of training programs. Our established rewards program is aimed at providing each employee a way to show their pride in a job done well and safely. Our Safety Director is an OSHA Authorized Outreach Construction Trainer (C 0057384) who continuously updates our training, using a variety of resources, ensuring that our employees are in tune with their jobsite-specific safety risks and controls.

Used too love working for them until the day they lay me off on the 26th of april my birthday is on the 25th one day after my birthday i found out by my self that they wanted too lay me off by asking where would they need me next and then the i am sorry comes in, i gave 2 years too this company and they did that to me while there are guys who came in 2 weeks before they let me go who got to stay who smoke weed and other drugs, but hey my loyalty does not count i even went all the way for these guys and beyond i purchased tools just spacific too this trade hvac that not even my supervisors had they came too me too borrow tools. and thats not all when your down and need there help they are not around i got injured on the 23 of april i contacted them to get help with my knee which had swollen and i was in pain i relly needed help, guess what they gave me a run around and denies too help me this is why i would never work for southern mechanical again dont expect these guys too be there whenn you need them too be there sencerly your ex technician Jasmin Bakic thanks
