James B. Pirtle founded Pirtle Construction Company in 1968 on the principal of being "Committed to Excellence from Concept to Completion." James B. Pirtle was a man of great integrity and from the beginning he led with a belief that construction can always be better than it is - for builders, subcontractors, and especially for clients.

Since 1968, Pirtle Construction has received numerous awards for outstanding quality and service. We have been recognized for the quality, safety, and service of our work. We have also been recognized numerous times for our involvement and commitment to diversity and small businesses in the locations in which we live, work, and play. The amount and type of awards are a testament to the people we employ and the dedication to our clients we have.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an intelligent model-based system that provides insight to help you plan, design, construct, and manage buildings. We were the first BIM for Facilities Mangement with the University of Florida. We are also pioneering new uses such as option analysis and cost/schedule impacts.

We utilize the latest research and technologies to create borderless learning spaces for students that support innovation in education; use of technology; flexible and adaptable spaces (such as movable walls that allow for changing needs in classroom settings and flexible seating arrangements and learning spaces); shared activity spaces where students can present, collaborate and study; and the growing expectations for sustainability and energy conservation.
