Bass Homes is a joke. Have you ever felt scammed? If you enjoyed that feeling then I would go see Bass Homes. These people are crooks, each and every one of them. We planned to build with them starting next year. We put a $3,000 deposit down. We sold our home and moved into a camper. We had to back out of our plans because of issues with financing our land. Jim told us REPEATEDLY that we would receive our down payment back.
We continued to call and message and we were ignored. Here we are, two months later, a week before Christmas, and Bill Bass decides to refund $2,000 and keep a grand for himself. He says that they already paid an architect to draw up plans, but he knows and I know that this is a lie. Merry Christmas to you and your family Bill Bass. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Bass Homes is not what they claim to be. My family and I decided that we were ready to sell our home and build this year. We put down $3k with Bass Homes and chose a plan. We backed out of the first plan because we were concerned with square footage. We then chose a larger house. We chose our piece of land and began the financing process for the land.
Once we figured out that our land would not finance with the terms that we originally thought, we called Bass Homes to cancel building for now and hopefully pick up pace in a year. We were told that we would receive a refund for the entire $3k. I have been calling and messaging our sales agent Jim for two whole months. He repeatedly ignored my phone calls. Now, here we are a week before Christmas and Bill Bass decided to keep $1,000 of our hard-earned money.
He says that he sent our plan to an architect (which created cost), but this is a bald-faced lie. We never started that process. I even asked for proof of the drawing being started. The finance lady named Crystal says that they cannot show me proof. I do not trust any person in this company. If I can't trust them in the beginning process, I will not be trusting them with any other part of my construction either. Merry Christmas Bill Bass.
