The personnel are professional, knowledgeable, and always explained the procedures to be performed. When there was a problem with some materials they promptly corrected the problem. The installers were efficient, constantly working and the first day worked 13 hours practically non-stop. They took off a double roof the gutters, gutter shields, repaired the damaged roof joists and cut new plywood for the repair, replaced new sheets of plywood where needed, installed all the underlayment AND the shingles all in the first day.

Our roof has almost 2800 square feet so it was a very big job. The remainder of the work of gutters, shields, final roof items were completed within 6 hours of the second day. They left our yard and flower beds clean of roofing materials and nails. This job was scheduled for 2 1/2 days and was completed in 1 1/2 days. We will never hesitate to recommend West Michigan Roofing's services to anyone.

Matt Ritchie and crew did an amazing job on my new roof! The entire process was easy from start to finish and the team was professional at all times. We have been less than impressed with this company. Our entire roof was replaced less than a year ago and already was leaking again. They applied a tarp early spring to prevent more water coming in before they could even take a look at what's needed to do the repairs, it's been rainy and we have been patient and understanding about the weather but my house looks absolutely ridiculous with this tarp.

They were supposed to be out last Saturday on our 80° sunny day, and they woke us up at 7:00am to rip the tarp off only to put it back on and leave because they forgot a dump trailer. Why they couldn't go back and get it is beyond us, since they were here so early in the day it shouldn't have been an issue. Instead the office called and told us they'd have to come back during the week.

Super frustrating, and zero apologies for the inconvenience. So it's Monday (today) and we received no word, so we checked in with the office since the weather is fine and no rain is expected but looks like they won't be making it out today either. It seems my husband has to harass this office to even get a call back to be updated on when they will be out.

On multiple occasions we have been promised call backs we've never received. The amount of times we've had to explain to different people at this company that we don't have an attic AFTER showing multiple teams who have been out to take pictures of the water damage in our house is alarming. We do not feel like our roof is currently a priority to this company, and paired with bad communication we feel burned as customers.

We feel they already have us in a loan and won't be getting more money for these repairs so we are being put on a back burner. I'd love for this company to turn my opinion around, but as of right now I am warning everyone I know to go elsewhere.

These guys are an amazing group to work with. They helped me with deciding what to buy and what I needed, kept me informed and up to date on every little thing they ran into during my project; which turned out to be way more than anyone expected. These guys did an amazing job and my roof has never looked to so good! I am definitely having them continue to other projects I have planned for fixing up my house. The roof was more then I was hoping to spend but it was a big job and it looks great! Everyone involved was very nice and worked very hard to get the job done.

I reached out to this company after a tree crashed through our roof and garage. Eric Rasmussen and Bob communicated well with us and our insurance agency to make sure we were properly taken care of and Manuel and his team did a phenomenal job with our roof installation. Our home looks so much nicer. I would recommend them to anyone with roofing needs! They get the job done!

We had received damage to our roof around our chimney from a storm. We contacted West Michigan Roofing to see if they could make the needed repairs. Upon speaking with them we were scheduled a meeting to review the work that needed to be done. I was quoted a very reasonable price for the repairs and very quickly, less than two weeks later, they were able to get started on the repairs.

It was completed on the same day they started. The crew led by Manuel was very knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the repair process and even going so far as to take pictures of the process and bring them down to me on the ground. This was extremely important for me as I am disabled and cannot get up on the roof. If I had questions about the process or anything related to the job they were more than happy to answer them for me.

The crew was polite and very professional. As they were wrapping up they were able to bring my husband up on the roof to make sure we were happy with the work that was done. We were beyond impressed with the level of quality and how the work was completed, it looks beautiful. Overall I am exceedingly pleased with their expediency, level of craftsmanship, and professionalism. I would and will happily recommend them to any and all who need roof work done.

Last year when we had the hail storm in Plainwell, I received dozens of brochures in the mail from eager roofing companies. West Michigan was the first or second company I called, but quickly stood out because Tony started connecting with my insurance company while I was still vetting companies. The other bidder had made little effort on my behalf in comparison, and Tony's initiative made my choice clear.

Everyone is super great and easy to work with. My house has a beautiful face lift-new roofing on house, second garage, and shed, plus new siding on house and garage! Can't thank you enough!

Brian young has been so helpful with the preparations of our new roof! It has been leaking and even though the installation is only a few days away, he took time to come out and tarp our roof so if it rained anymore that we would be good! These guys did an amazing job siding my house. It is over 100 yrs old with multiple additions over the years. Dan and Phil went above and beyond to make sure it was done right and it looks fantastic. Jake was also great to work with. He went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my siding choice and that the job was done right. Absolutely great crew!

I absolutely love my roof. It's so pretty! Bob and his crew led by Manuel, were very nice, thorough, even nice enough to help me get kids across the street. Manuel made sure to ask questions often, update on the progress, etc. we even got a matching roof for our shed. (House will painted shed color come spring). Bob was awesome to work with. He met with the adjuster and walked through everything with him.

And that's before he was hired. Amazing work, amazing crew, just great people who care about their work and customers. Bob even helped us with with our Christmas lights on the gutters when he came by to inspect the work, just to be nice. They exceeded my expectations. Now I just need the house painted and everything will be perfect. Thank you!

West Michigan Roofing did an awesome job on replacing our old and stained roof with a new beautiful roof. We have a pretty big home and wanted to also get our shed, playhouse, and playset re-roofed as well. They did it all in 2 1/2 days and did a quality job. I really appreciated the help our project manager, Derek, provided. He helped us pick out a great color and even climbed on the roof to lay out shingles so we could get an idea of how it would look on the house. Derek made sure we were aware of all shingle and venting options and helped us pick the options that are right for us. and after I checked with a few other roofing contractors and saw the BBB rating we knew West MI Roofing was the right choice.

The roofers were customer focused and although busy, they took the time to answer any questions or requests we had. Brendon, the crew manager, did a great job making sure the crew had what they needed, were doing quality work, and were happy. He even climbed up on the roofs to help wrap up the job. We love the look of our new roof and know it will last. I am very happy with the job West Mi Roofing did and highly recommend them.

West Michigan Roofing and Construction recently replaced our roof and did an excellent job in every phase. We needed a complete tear off because we had two layers of shingles and plenty of bad decking. There was a leak that was causing water to run down the wall on the interior of our home. Since the work has been completed we have had no leaks or any issues and it looks great!

We've got piece of mind knowing that if anything ever does go wrong these guys stand behind their work. Bob Ackerman was friendly, professional and easy to consult with. He made helpful suggestions as far as shingle colors and explaining product options. They also offer financing which was a huge relief for us not having to come out of pocket for such a big ticket item.

That being said, we found their pricing was better than any of the other quotes we received. Bob walked us through the financing process and made things easy to understand. The roofing crew led by Manuel were professional, fast, efficient and took the time to explain what was going on each time we interacted with them. The crew started on possibly the worst day of winter dealing with snow and sub zero temperatures and still had it completed in just a few days. Five stars across the board for Bob and his team!
