Tri-State Carports

I purchased a carport 2016 from tri state and it got damaged on 15th of December 2021so I contacted them to repair it January 3rd and just got the run around the truck broke down the guys are sick its to winding its raining they are behind on other jobs, then Saturday 3/19/22 they just show up to fix it and it's the wrong stuff [Trim] they are very rude. I have just settled with what I have do to the fact I am just done with the hole company. I will never go back to them for anything and would not recommend them

They are extremely rude, slow and constantly changing things. A carport was ordered over 10 months ago, we're still waiting. They call on a Thursday late afternoon to say they will be there on Monday with a different size and different colored carport and to just deal with it. They are rude on the phone during delivery stating that if they can't find the house then they don't deliver. TEN MONTHS LATE.

Go anywhere. Pay whatever price you need to stay far away from this business. It wasn't until we had a bad experience that I read the google reviews, all negative. Take that to heart.

I'm very happy with the garage they built for my family. The crew that constructed the garage was fast, but they made some mistakes with scratches and dents. I went to the Missouri shop to pay for the building see about fixing the problems. The owner and his son treated us great. I was lucky to get it ordered before the price increase. Yes I would order again when the price of steel goes back down.

BUYERS BEWARE: We placed our order on 11th April for 2 car ports and we were aware of that 10-12 weeks delayed. We got a call from them first week of July stating that they had received our supplies and waiting for installers and they told me to get the land leveled so they can install the car ports on delivery. After that I haven't heard any updates from them.

So I called them 2 weeks later to get an update, they said the same thing that they are still waiting for the installers. Every week we got the same answer from them. Then on the 3rd week of August they called me and told me that that they increased the price and you have only two options. Either you pay twice the amount of what you paid when placed the orders or cancel it.

I was not allowed to talk to any of the supervisors or managers. They were so rude and told me that they have all the rights to cancel our order or all the rights to increase their price. They made us to wait all these weeks for nothing. BUYERS BEWARE

I purchased a garage from an authorized dealer in Omaha Nebraska on April 18,2020. I put down half $2013.00, June 5th I received notice from the guy that he couldn't get supplies and it would be at least another month. On July 27th, after numerous calls and texts to the guy I bought the garage from he told me that he no longer had my money, because he used to build other orders.

My invoice says Tri State Carports on so I called them, and they say they don't have my order. They have also not followed up with me, as I'm sure they don't want to give me money back! Not sure who is technically responsible but at any rate I have no garage and it appears no one is giving me money back. Buyer beware.

We've been a dealer for Tri State for many years and had no issues until 7 months ago. Sold a carport in September and the customer is still waiting on delivery (it is now mid-April). Every time we call the office, we get put on hold and no one ever picks up the call. Who in the hell is in charge there? clearly no one as no one can give us a straight answer.

Our customer cancelled the order, which also reflects badly on our business. We had two more carports tentatively sold, depending on the outcome of the September sale. We will no longer sell Tri State carports.

I ordered my building at the end of July 2020. It was constructed in September 2020. In October, I reported an issue with it. The issue was not repaired until last week, six months since the request. Only then because I hounded the salesperson with texts and calls. I left many, many messages at corporate that were never returned. When they called to schedule the repair, they tried to say that I would have to pay an additional fee for labor and materials. BUYER BEWARE!

I paid my deposit in September, and finally got my carport put up in March. All I got was excuses. Finally was told my order was lost. First time they showed up to install, they put the first end up, and a gentle breeze blew and the whole end came down, bending the legs, bottom rails, and siding attached to gable. I asked for a refund, and was told they couldn't, so I was stuck!

Ordered a $2700.00 tristate carports Missouri, carport for my freightliner. Paid a $300.00 deposit. waited a month and the day before they came to install they called and wanted almost $700.00 more for extra equipment and added "liability". The carport would be built on concrete. They wanted me to rent a tele-handler even though I have a forklift and boom truck on scene. Zero stars?
