Straight Shooter Plumbing and Rooter

I would recommend this place hands down. I called four different plumbing companies that were rated 4.8 and above (the other companies must have a lot of friends that give them reviews). Straightshooter is the only one that called me back. I had a no freeze yard faucet that started running water on a weekend with cold and snow coming. Rick was amazing, he knew exactly what to do. The weekend extra rate was well worth it. This company is in my contacts list forever! Thank you, thank you! You all ROCK!

I live in MT. Desperate for honesty from a professional, I called Straight Shooter located across state lines due to their high customer review rating. Steve did a tele-assessment and sent his crew out next day. That crew, Brandt and Nick, worked tirelessly into the night to fix all the shoddy work that had been done by other plumbing crews. Though I am far away and must pay a travel fee, I am reluctant to even consider another plumber ever again. For those of you in my area (Sanders County, Montana), consider this crew. They are worth every penny!

When you have a backed up kitchen sink everything stops. Of course it always happens on a weekend. We contacted Straight Shooter Plumbing on Sunday and they scheduled us for the next day. We called them because we had called them once before to replace a broken hot water tank (on a weekend) and it was a very good experience. They arrived on time and got straight to work.

We had a plugged drain on a sink with a garbage disposal. During inspection it was determined the clog was indeed inside the disposal and the guys were able to clean it out and get the whole thing working again. Both guys were very professional courteous and took great care to keep everything clean and dry. I was extremely happy with the quick response, the work performed and the fair pricing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable plumber!

Rick Powell was very knowledgable and helpful. Shovelers were quite slow. Repair was done professionally by Mr. Powell.

Steve owner of Straight Shooter was great to work with, answered all my questions and was honest about what needed to be done. His team Nick, Jacob, Sean, Cody, and Steve were hard workers and got the job done quickly and efficiently. I had a hot water replaced and added a soft water filter system. Came to evaluate issue over weekend. Unable to resolve immediatly so did not charge weekend surcharge. Fixed in timely fashion once parts were available! So thankful for quick help as water had to be turned off until issue was fixed. Guys were friendly and professional! So easy to work with Steve, Thanks! I haven't had the chance to use their services, however, next time or anytime I or anyone I know needs a plumber straight shooter will be who I call. I called because I thought I had what was a clogged drain. Steve suggested that it may be a full septic and suggested I call a septic company so as to not spin my wheels and pain for a plumber who may not fix the problem.

He then went so far as to find a septic company that has openings. He was an awesome guy and I can't wait to use their services. Thank you so much straight shooter, plumbing!

I'm so glad I found this company. They responded to my call the same day, came and gave me an estimate the following day, and completed all the work the day after that for exactly the estimate I was given. Their work was excellent, even correcting mistakes of a previous company's work. They were both professional and friendly. Straight Shooters indeed!

Moved a well filter from under my house to the side of it so that I didn't have to crawl under the house (with all the spiders) anymore. NIck was a super friendly guy and did a first rate job even though there was a few problems dealing with old piping to fit with new piping. I couldn't be happier with the job performed that day. Opening up home after winter closure resulted in broken main water valve. Contacted Straight Shooter Plumbing for emergency situation on a weekend. They sent out Technician Jacob Love within hours of my call. Jacob was very professional. Not only did he fix main problem he checked and double checked every system in the home to assure everything functional. He also gave me great advice on better winterizing plumbing. Very satisfied customer.

Nick came out for clogged kitchen plumbing, but we found out the plumbing was in worse shape than it should have been in. He was able to come back out the next day and replace the whole line for a very fair price. The job was left spotless as well when they left even with removing some of the drywall. Will definitely recommend Straight Shooter to anybody looking for a great plumber.

These guys were amazing! Fair price and quality work. Even helped me turn off the water on a Saturday to my place when I went on vacation because I was worried about a leak. Were quick to deal with hiccups with my outdated and small heater and were totally calm and professional every step of the way. Never uncharged me or tried to sell me more then what they needed too. Prompt and professional service, even on a Saturday. I called at 7:45 a.m. on a Sat morning, expecting to leave voicemail and hope for a call back on Monday regarding a leak under my kitchen sink. Nope. Steve answered, said he had an appointment but he'd drop by on his way to diagnose. He arrived ~30 minutes later, looked at the issue and immediately fixed it.

The p trap had come loose, he tightened it and **voila** no more leak. To top it all off, I anticipated a $40-$50 service call for his effort, but he didn't charge me. I'll call Straight Shooter Plumbing in a heartbeat, no question, to help with any future plumbing problems I encounter.

Steve and Dave were excellent to work with. We discovered a leak early one morning and they came within 10 minutes. They located the problem very quickly, explained everything so we could understand, and replaced the broken pipe. They also gave helpful information for further water damage repair. It's a horrible problem to be dealing with, but they made their portion of the process as simple and painless as possible for us. We're so glad we called them and would call again about any future problems for sure.

We had a back up in our toilet that was unable to be cleared with a plunger. We called, and they were able to get out to the house rather quickly and got the drain cleared in a timely manner. They also helped troubleshoot why the problem happened in the first place. They are incredibly professional, honest, and pleasant to work with. I will definitely be using them again!
