Love this place even though it was temporarily. The pay is amazing, way better than Alabama pay. It doesn't matter what county in Alabama. The state of Alabama can not touch the pay this company offers.

Inconvenient, don't know how to set up detours or mark signs. Turned a 10 min drive into an hour because they had no road closed signs or detour signs

I frequently drive through the 35W Crosstown and appreciate it each time when I recall how much of a traffic mess it used to be before Ames Construction reworked it.

Horrible customer service. Running their trucks on highways breaking windshields then saying not going to pay because it's my word against theirs. They should be ashamed of the debris they leave on the roads and that comes off their trucks.

I worked around a few of the Ames projects when I drove belly dump into and out've the airport when the new runway at the MSP Airport was being built and the tunnel for the access to the new UPS, Fed-EX air facilities was under construction and I was driving for Gustafson hauling sand out've Rosemount to the project there! I got stuck and accidentally put the old freightliner in reverse as the CAT operator got upset as I got stuck dumping into the low area on the south side of the tunnel!
