I have purchased two homes from brock built and I feel like the service has decreased and gone down hill as the years have gone by. I just purchased my second home in the west highlands community, I have several warranty issues that are not being addressed and I was advised that would not be. After 4 months I had a bathtub crack, and you can feel it sink in the center and I was advised that it is not under warranty.

Working with Dahlia and Michael were an absolute pleasure, however dealing with the low quality of products used in a home are definitely not up to par for this price point. It makes me sad to say this but I can't recommend them as a builder.

The experience with our new home has been terrible. We bought a $500k home thinking we were going to get a high quality house that we could be in for a long time. In the year we have had it we just experienced our fourth issue of water coming in. First it was the storm shelter, then the doors leading from the deck to our living room (they had to replace the floors), an issue with the duct work that caused a leak and now a leaking window that has ruined the drywall and baseboards in the master bedroom.

The basement issue caused black mold to form and had to be remediated but of course that happened on their schedule. We also had a bad sump pump that got replaced but not before it leaked under the walls into our garage. The smell was unreal and we had to clear the house for the night. I will say that two of the issues have been addressed but the basement issue has been going on the entire time we've had the house and the only time you will get a response is by constantly monitoring and harassing them.

They had to rip apart our porch and replace it so it wouldn't leak into the storm shelter. That project started four months ago and still isn't fully finished. With the new issue I'm going to bite the bullet and pay to repair it myself because otherwise it won't get done for several months and it isn't worth the hassle of waiting for them. Turnover seems to be a big issue as we had three different "leads" while the house was under construction.

They're also on their third or fourth quality control person. The current one, Alex, is super nice but he is very green and doesn't seem to be able to get things done efficiently. The design and look of these houses is amazing. I just wish the quality and customer service matched the look. My wife and I have been extremely patient and wouldn't post anything negative unless absolutely necessary.

I'd hate for more people to deal with these issues. Update.7/13/19. to be fair I thought I would follow up and let people know that Brock has officially addressed all situations we brought forward. I still think the customer service and response time could use work but they did take care of the things we asked them to.

I have had nothing but problems with my home and landscape, we just had our three year anniversary with purchasing too (keep that in mind as you read this). Trees dying that were promised to be replaced and never were.not even a response. We had to remove two existing trees because Brock incorrectly cut the root system and cut roots back inside the drip line causing the trees to die and disease ($6K out of our pocket and you guessed it.no response from builder) A used refrigerator was installed in the house and no response was given to these inquiries.

Nothing but trouble with the AC and the best part is, the company who installed the system can't even work on it because they no longer service residential.hmmmmm, wonder why? (Damper wasn't installed correctly, leak in the AC unit, unit has been out twice!). Plumbing issues, cutting corners on material causing the need to cut holes in our drywall to install superior brackets on shower and tub combo.

Paint was terrible and mismatched, I've had to have the interior of the house repainted due to poor workmanship and quality. If I could post something to sway ANYONE from doing business with this company I would, but for now this is all I have. Do yourself a favor and buy anything but a Brock Built home. Lastly, if you don't believe this company doesn't care just check out the responses to reviews. They only respond to thrilled recipients of their services but have absolutely no desire to address the poor service they've provided so many people.

Thought we were buying our dream home but met with only issues. I highly suggest you find a new builder before buying one of their homes. We had drainage issues from the beginning and issues that will lead to moisture in the crawl space. This has caused our house to settle and now the bathroom tiles are completely coming up, siding on the house is cracking, dry wall has cracks and holes in it from shotty work.

This was supposed to be fixed on the one year walk-through but that is still not done. Every time I send an email to the warranty coordinator and Ken the warranty guy they completely disregard my emails and don't respond back anymore they have no intention to fix this issue. This company is a fraud, they don't even deserve one star

I am a Brock Built home owner and have nothing but good things to say about the entire buying process. I get compliments every time I have guests over on the quality of the home and the personal touches the Brock team allowed me to put on my house. They have been very responsive and helpful even with the small issues after closing. I will most definitely be in a Brock Built home for the rest of my life!

My husband and I were in desperate need of a larger home to accommodate our quickly growing family. We kept coming up short in our search because it was becoming quite difficult to find a home in Atlanta that offered value and security. When we learned of Brock Built, we were immediately intrigued by the idea of new construction, as well as the ability to live in a community within Atlanta.

Upon visiting Westside Station, we were impressed by the level of craftsmanship, the unique look and feel of the community, and the diligence of the sales team. The buying process was delightful in that we were granted the ability to choose custom finishes for our semi-custom home and felt supported throughout the entire buying process. As with any new construction project, we did run into some hiccups, but the Brock Team was committed to ensuring our happiness.

We have now been living in our new home for 6 months and couldn't be happier with our decision. We absolutely LOVE our community and feel safe. The Brock Team has continued their commitment to our well-being and to the well-being of the community, as a whole. This is undoubtedly a great investment, and I highly suggest Brock Built to anyone looking for their dream home.

I rarely post reviews but I felt obligated to post about my incredible experience with the Brock Built team from the initial meeting with Misty who showed me the West Highlands area and how much it's growing and how much green space there is (great for running and walking your dogs!). Misty showed me the various layouts and floorplans and took me on her golf cart to go see them as they were being built.

She has a ton of vision and explained (because it's a new home) how everything would look in the final product and she was right - I'm so happy with my purchase! We then worked with Dahlia throughout the entire sales process and that experience was amazing - Dahlia and the brock built team made the sales process unbelievably easy - I felt like a true millennial doing everything electronically and loving the entire process because Dahlia got me responses and answers same day!

It's truly amazing to have a builder that cares about you - Jeff personally called me to give me status updates on the home while I was traveling and right after my purchase.great customer service! Finally - I'm super happy with my new townhome in West Highlands, atlanta - the Brock built team is insanely great to work with and I would honestly do it all over again with them.

I love waking up in the morning and admiring my new home's finishes, hardwood floors, deck overlooking green space.etc - thank you Brock Built team for all of your hard work!

I am flabbergasted by the horrible reviews that Brock Built has in the Atlanta Market and beyond. Their product looks very nice, and I am so disappointed to read all of the horrible reviews. I had my heart set on buying one of these homes, and i am so torn based on the Better Business Bureau reviews and horrible reviews on yelp, google and other sites.

It's mind blowing. Why would they (Brock Built) not stand behind their product after closing? These reviews have me looking at other builders, but none that I've seen have homes that are unique like Brock Built. I'm utterly frustrated with this process of finding a new home. ARRRGGH

For one of the fastest growing builders in Atlanta, Brock Built did a fantastic job getting us through the process of building a new home from scratch. Ansley is an amazing and friendly agent to work with and she will make sure you dont get lost with all the responsibilities of building a new home. She kept us informed when they poured the concrete down : The design process was easy peazy and all the designers over at Brock were great to work with. You can tell that they put there heart and souls into these homes. A great team and a great product "home".

To give some context, I worked with Dahlia Aitova (Listing Broker) and Tim Stowe (Construction Manager) to build a home in the West Highlands development in Atlanta, GA. I signed a contract prior to filing the plans with the city so we were able to participate in the build from the ground up! Overall, my experience was excellent. Dahlia is very quick to respond and always professional. Tim was quick to fix items that we noticed were incorrect during the build.

Also after reading some of the other reviews, I have to point out that it is important for the home buyer to be their own advocate and visit their future home as it is being built so that items can be corrected at a stage that it is easier to correct. For example, Brock put the wrong front door on our house early on in construction. I notified Dahlia immediately, and it was replaced within a day (an example of excellent & quick customer service IMO).

That said, if I had waited until final walk through before closing to notice changes and the door had been painted our color, etc, then it would have potentially been more expensive and difficult to fix. Of course, I fully believe that Brock would have made it right at that stage as well, but it is important to remember that everyone is human. My wife and I have greatly enjoyed the process of building a home with Brock Built Homes.

I have worked with clients who have built custom homes from the ground up, and I actually prefer the process of working with Brock then having to pick out every single item during a home build. They gave me huge flexibility, and I feel like we were able to make the choices that were most important and fun to make (such as picking out the house plan, colors, countertops, fixtures, etc) while not having to worry about getting a construction loan, haha.

All that said, my experience was very positive with the West Highlands team. The people you work with directly greatly matter, and Dahlia and Tim were a pleasure to work with.
