This business was amazing. They were professional and got the job done under the estimated time. They made sure that my floors around the project were protected. Most important- they cleaned after themselves every day. You will not be tripping over tools, debris, etc left by the crew. I can't wait to have them back to remodel the rest of my house.

Working with Dan @ Samanco was a pleasure. He fit us in his schedule within a week (it's is nearly impossible to find a contractor to work within a couple months these days). I was unable to be around for the construction - he was fantastic about picking up supplies, including tiles and fixtures, and coordinating the shower door installer. His quote was fair and accurate. I am very happy with outcome.

This summer, we were fortunate to have Dan and his staff remodel our kitchen. They did an impeccable job with the cabinetry, back splashes, counters, sinks, and fixed piping issues. Additionally, the painting they did and LED lights they installed are flawless. Furthermore, they were all professional and patient. And now, we have our dream kitchen! I highly recommend Samanco.

This was a remodel of a finished basement that included demo and update of bathroom, replacement of drop ceiling, removal of old flooring and installation of new, reconstruction of a wall, drywall repair, painting, and construction of a bar. Simply terrific. Samanco was the lowest bid we took. The design was the best of the designs we reviewed. Tomas and Mirek worked Mon-Sat from 7-4 weekdays, 7-12 Saturday.

There were no delays, no disappearances. The attention to detail was mind-blowing. Tomas and Mirek were very respectful, like good houseguests, and sensitive about COVID and distancing. Dan is a pure delight to work with and talk to. Strange to say, but we sort of miss having them around. We are so pleased we found them, so delighted with the work. We've already asked for an estimate to update our kitchen. Highest recommendation.

You suck. Less than 4 years after spending $1000s with you, I have rot and your solution to a downspout solution just cost me $1500 and that's not including the damage caused to my exterior. You don't deserve anyone's business I have to go up in the attic to assess the real damage. I'm not optimistic

Dan and his team have completed two different projects at our home including a full bath remodel. All work done has been amazing quality with attention to detail. They make an effort to keep things clean and neat as the project is in progress. Communication was great so that outcome was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely call them again with any future remodel endeavors.

My wife and I are both first time remodelers. Everyone including Tommie, Dan, and Robert are all beyond fantastic. All components of the project were thoroughly explained and there are no surprises. Dan even provided a detailed list of items that I needed to purchase, and provided suggestions on where to purchase them. Robert was fantastic with our house and treated it as his own, cleaning up at the end of everyday.

The pricing was great, especially considering the extremely high quality (just look at the pictures). We are extremely happy we chose Samanco for our project. We will definitely use them for all of our projects going forward.

Samanco recently competed a very large and expensive project in our home. From start to finish we had a excellent experience. Dan, the owner of Samanco was very involved through out the project visiting the site once or twice a week. Our onsite workers were polite and easy to work with. They consulted with us and always made sure we were happy with their work. I could not be happier with the work of all the Samanco staff. I highly recommend them for any work you need to have done!

After a botched job by another company, I called Samanco. From the time the initial appointment was made through the completion of the project everyone at Samanco performed with skill, care and professionalism. The job, a bedroom repair/remodel, was done in a timely manner, for a fair price and was exactly what I requested. Save yourself the headache and call Samanco first.

Samanco installed recessed living room lighting, built out a wall upstairs, and made several kitchen updates. They were a pleasure to work with. Work was completed quickly, on-time, and is high quality. Would recommend to anyone and will use them again for future projects.

Samanco has completed two projects for me and I could not be more satisfied. My kitchen is beautiful and my bedroom looks like it could be on tv. The workmanship is first rate. I really appreciated their promptness and I don't think I've ever seen anyone work so hard. There were no cost overruns in the kitchen and I approved a few small enhancements in the bedroom. Dan and Tomie always respond quickly to questions and they are enormously supportive. They are also a great source for ideas. I plan on hiring Samanco again to renovate my den and second bathroom.

We used Samanco for the first time to completely remodel our main bathroom. Cost style and quality we all on point. I will definitely use them again. They were timely, neat and efficient. We love our new space.

Samanco Construction has been one of my happiest finds. They have completed 2 projects for me. The caliber of their work is superior and their costs are reasonable. Dan and crew did our wetbar in our basement. It could not have turned out any better. They knocked down two big closets and put in a beautiful wetbar. I highly recommend them and we are planning to use them again for our kitchen remodel.

I found Samanco after having a kitchen remodeling project started by a contractor that was recommended by a co-worker. After a terrible start just doing demolition he stopped showing up and became unreachable. Luckily, after a friend told us about Samanco we were able to get Dan and Tommy out to look at our disaster. We had most of the materials and Dan and his crew moved us up on scheduling to help us out.

What a difference! The guys showed up every morning to work and took care to keep everything clean. We found a number of unknown issues as we progressed and all the changes were handled with very little stress or high costs. They also recommended additional touches that really made a big difference. I am now cooking and entertaining in my beautiful new kitchen and will be having Samanco do our bathroom next year. I would highly recommend Samanco to anybody that wants to have any remodeling project.

Samanco Construction recently completed a kitchen remodeling project in our home and the whole experience couldn't have gone smoother. Dan and his crew were reliable, honest, hard working, and excellent craftsmen. Dan was extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns during this project. Our kitchen turned out beautifully and we are completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend Samanco for all of your needs. Our bathroom is next and I can't wait!

After another construction company left a mess with their poor and incomplete workmanship, Samanco fixed it all in an efficient and timely manner. When the Samanco crew was finished, you couldn't tell that there had ever been a problem in the first place, let alone one compounded by the shoddy work done previously.

These guys are top notch and I'll be using them again for sure on other projects. Dan's very consultative and just 'gets it' when you're slightly vague about what you want done. His team is incredibly efficient, punctual, and they too have a really firm grasp on construction and can sort of glean what it is that you're trying to have done (if you don't know down to the detail- don't worry - these guys do) Max and his crew were here 6-days a week, every day at around 7:30am without fail.

In a span of 4-weeks (the Monday after Thanksgiving until the Friday before Christmas), they completely rehabbed 2-bathrooms and a kitchen. The bathrooms were down to the studs in a day and they rebuilt them from scratch. They look fantastic. They worked with the parts supplier (for fixtures) and the tile store to coordinate pick up of everything - really eased a lot of stress.

Given the amount of work involved in the demo and reconstruction, let alone the re-tiling, there was virtually no mess at the end of the day - they even went so far as to clean the floors daily when they were complete. Max and his team were incredibly accommodating and respectful Having already started another project for the roof deck with a different contractor, I just assumed that all Chicago contractors were just casual and loose about their work and would just get to it when they can. Dan set the bar high enough that he'll be finishing up that roof deck job for me. There's lots of choices for lots of different jobs, but these guys covered the spectrum of everything.

Samanco did several big projects on my home in May and June 2016: opening kitchen to dining area, adding recessed LED lighting throughout ground floor, installing new cabinetry, counter tops, back splash, and appliances in my kitchen, and reconfiguring my laundry room. First, Dan was professional and efficient whenever I dealt with him. Second, he developed some great solutions for my home at a price I was happy with.

But third, and most importantly, when Dan and his crew uncovered issues in my building, specifically with shoddy electrical work, they were able to repair and adjust their scope smoothly and efficiently. Everyone on the Samanco team is skilled, experienced, and courteous. As a result of their excellent work, not only do I have a beautiful home, but I also have a safer one. That peace of mind with my family is crucial, and I will definitely call Samanco first for any future projects.

Samanco did an excellent job on our main floor bathroom. It turned out to be a much bigger job than we first thought, so the price went up, but we trusted Dan and his crew to do it all right so we would never have to replace any plumbing ever again! The bathroom looks gorgeous. I couldn't be happier!

Samanco did our deck and converted a picture window to a sliding glass door. They did a good job maintaining the area around the job and being respectful of our family. (We have a dog and a baby). Dave, the project manager, stopped by almost daily and checked in on the workers. The only complaint is poor communication on WHEN they planned to do the work.

On the phone he said they couldn't get it done til Early June but then when we never heard from them for a date we called and they said they'd be over in the next day to start the project. On the bright side, I guess that's under-promising and over delivering. They did a good job, kept the price down by repurposing some siding and other materials.

No picture of work to use as a reference but the contractors checked in with me when they had a question. Overall, would recommend or reuse them for a mother project down the line.

Samanco did a gut renovation of our Master bath and also a gut of our kitchen. Dave was our contact and was very professional. Like all projects unknown issues came up and Dave worked with me to come up with a solution. I would highly recommend Dave and Samanco for kitchen and bath work.

Here's the thing: In general, they did a 'decent' job with the construction. Nothing was installed incorrectly per se and things are straight and seem to be correct. The biggest issue we had was the general lack of communication. We met with Dan and he walked through and did the quote. He was fairly thorough and it seemed that he got most of the details.

The quote was reasonable - not the highest but not the lowest. When construction actually began, we never did once see Dan. We spoke a few times on the phone but it was primarily prompted from me. Our communication was through the daily workers so things that I discussed with Dan were not all communicated across. I think they did a decent job of asking all of the necessary questions but it would have been quite nice if Dan were on hand with some of the decisions as we didn't always realize the implications of some of our choices.

I can go on about a number of specific examples but all in all, I don't feel as though they went above and beyond like they could have. I feel like they did the minimum requirements; just enough to get the job done but there were a few things that would have been nice to have. This was a big job ($21,000) and a big decision. The work wound up to be acceptable but knowing that we were paying a bit of a premium to have a project manager, I would have liked to have gotten a bit more out of it.

Samanco replaced the wall and tile around our bathroom tub that had been damaged by a long slow leak from around the soap dish. Dave Belder, Samanco rep was great. Rapid response, on time, manager the project to expectations. Their pricing was the best I found. Great workmanship. I would recommend them for a similar project.

Samanco recently completed our master suite renovation and we couldn't be more delighted with the results. From our first call to ask for a proposal, we found them to be responsive, creative, attentive to detail, and all-around good people to work with. Their work has greatly helped increase the value of our property as well as the enjoyment of our home. We have a lot more renovation to do, and Samanco will be doing all of it.
