After our house was built 7 years ago, I wrote a review of the building process from the planning stage through the first year. At every step Todd, Michelle, and Caroline helped us make selections so there would be no surprises. Now, after living in this house for over seven years, we are continually reminded of how important all that planning was to the quality and livability of our home.
Every day we enjoy features in our home that would not have been there had we not had a knowledgeable builder who recommended them. There was one surprise in working with Addison Homes. After the house was completed, they didn't go away. During the first year, there were minor issues needing attention; and they were quick to respond. During the past seven years, I have occasionally called requesting suggestions about maintaining our home. Caroline and Todd have always been responsive and helpful. Addison Homes is clearly an outstanding builder.

We had a great experience with Addison Homes! Todd is very knowledgeable about his product and pays attention to every detail of the building process. He and his staff are efficient and caring about concerns and questions. And it is wonderful living in our beautiful and healthy, high performance house. I have been able to stop allergy treatments since we moved in! The house and the process was everything we wanted and more! My husband and I would definitely recommend Todd Usher and Addison Homes!

Addison Homes built us a beautiful home, but we have had so many issues since completion. We have spent more money fixing things in less than 5 years than we did fixing things in a home we lived in for 21 years. I hope he has gotten some better subcontractors than he had when our home was built. We saved for so long to build our dream home, which has turned into a nightmare.

We chose Addison because at the time we built he was the only certified green builder in town (2012). Pretty soon after we signed the contract we realized that we made a bad mistake. Building with Todd Usher was a constant fight, up to the day we moved in. Did not stop then. Now we are in the house for over a year and we still do not have the Energy Certificates which was the ONLY reason we used this unknown builder. We have used the BBB and had to hire an attorney to get the open issues closed with him. (by the way, still nothing!) Not recommended!
