At the root of every successful company is the leadership. Hollison Custom Homes is owned and directed by Scott Lynch. Since 1991, Scott has participated in all areas of the residential real estate development, construction, and sales processes. He is licensed as a home building contractor, general contractor, and real estate broker all in the state of South Carolina.
Hollison Custom Homes assists you from start to finish including the selection of your home site. There are many factors to consider when searching for a home site. Size of the site, typography, school districts, vegetation, soil condition, subdivision or no subdivision, proximity to work etc. We can assist you in assessing the positive and negative aspects of potential home sites as they relate to construction.
I am very pleased with the quality and detail of their work. I know I can always count on them to be conscientious and their response to be immediate with anything we need. Hollison Custom Homes made the overwhelming simple. Although we appreciated the beauty and high quality of their work, we were hesitant on moving forward with such a large project. How much support would we get through so many decisions? Will the project be on time? On budget?
Needless to say, once we decided to move forward, all of our concerns were put to rest. Scott Lynch and his team were personable, honest, and extremely well-organized. Scott provided us with an easy to follow schedule book that outlined all the phases along with the key decisions for us to make. Thus, the overwhelming complexity was turned into a very manageable set of tasks for the duration of the project. Any unexpected changes (there were just a couple due to weather) were well communicated - so our expectations were well managed throughout the entire process.
We were encouraged to go onsite, inspect and monitor as desired. We did. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the friendliness of the contractors. We were also glad to hear how long they all had worked with Scott, as well as how much they appreciated his fairness, transparency, and good organization.
We ended up very happy with our ‘perfect home’ which was delivered within the timeline and budget discussed on our first encounter with Scott. We are no longer concerned with building a new home…as long as it’s with Hollison Custom Homes!

We met Scott Lynch about 5 years before using to build our house when prospecting different custom home builders. His overall attitude, honesty, and quality of homes he was building geared us towards using him when we were ready to build. During the entire design and building process Scott was easy to work with and was on top of the contractors to make sure the project went as planned. Any issues that arose during construction and for the time period just following completion he assured that all was taken care of and completed in a timely manner. The attention to detail by both Scott and his contractors is what makes the quality of his homes a level above the competition. I would recommend Holison homes to anyway looking to build a custom house.

Before purchasing our current home in August 2014, we contacted Scott Lynch of Hollison
Custom Homes to conduct a walk-thru and provide an estimate for an extensive remodel of the property. His insight, construction knowledge and questions of our "wants" enabled him to come up with a detailed remodeling plan that also fit our budget and timeline. Because of Scott, we purchased the property and immediately hired Hollison Custom Homes to remodel our home. We tackled everything from insulation, electrical, and plumbing to the aesthetics (flooring, tile, custom cabinetry, painting). Every surface inside our home was touched and the end result is a beautiful home that makes us extremely happy. We have Scott Lynch/Hollison Custom Homes to thank for that. If the need to move ever arises, the first call we will make is to Scott and Hollison Custom Homes.

Professionalism and excellence personified ~ Hollison Homes and Scott Lynch are synonymous with this assessment. For reasons not worth addressing here, it took my wife and I nine years to evolve from a thought to reality. Once done, we have a home that is all we had hoped for and enjoy the accolades of many friends and associates. We began with an idea and a floor plan that was close to our wishes. Scott listened, recommended alternatives, and after decision making, we put the wheels in motion. The craftsmanship – not to be confused with house-building – resulted in the delivery of our every hope and wish. He is sincere and desires from the first moment to the delivery of the product to make the customer happy. We are a little over two years into this house, and an unfortunate accident compromised a pillar on the front porch. I called Scott for advice on who to have “fix” the problem and within three days, he was there and resolved it … he wanted to see the integrity of his efforts restored to the way he intended it. This is a man you can believe in and trust without question.
