Best Electric Service

After installing a new A/C unit, my heating and cooling company had Best Electric come and take care of the wiring. Rob came and took care of the job VERY quickly. Initially, he was expecting a much longer process but once he started he finished it in almost half the time. Overall, very pleased with them. Will utilize their services again!

Best Electric was the contarctor on our solar project. They went above & beyond to insure we got our panles up & running. They are the perfect conduit between the Solar company & We Energies! A highly responsive and professional company. The company rep helped squeeze in my smaller job to replace a motion sensor switch and replace an outdoor motion sensor security light. They worked with my limited timeline to address my work request as I was visiting a relative whose home needed repairs. They listened and went above and beyond to accommodate.

The electrician was honest, kind, skilled, and explained the work he performed. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Best Electric and will use their services again for any future needs.

This is the second time we've used Best Electric. The first time was when we're selling our house about seven years ago and knob-and-tube wiring was found in the attic. They were the place closest to us so we called. They provided us with rush service considering the issue and timing and explained the best way to fix the issue and did so in a very timely fashion.

This time, we had issues with our doorbell. Jeff R. came out within the time promised. He was very nice and respectful. We sorted out the issue, it was fixed in an hour, and the charge was the minimum at $165. Overall, two great experiences with Best Electric!

I had new lighting, switches and outlets put in my basement. Jeff and Nathan were friendly, efficient and did a great job. They were right on time and finished before expected - always a plus! Showed me how to take apart the can lights so that I could paint the ceiling later. I will admit that I didn't get other estimates because of my own time constraints. So I have nothing to compare it to, but price was more than I expected.

Jeff R. did a great job removing and replacing our bathroom light/fan. I know that it was not an easy job since we have a very old unit that needed to be remove. He showed up on time and was very professional and helpful. He explained what needed to be done and started working right away. I was also having some issue with my light switches not working correctly and he fixed them for me too. Jeff was great to work with and will request him again for some other projects that I need done. I recommend Best Electric if you are looking to have some work done.

We had an excellent experience with Best Electric. Got a super fast reply to our original inquiry, and great and complete communication. Tyrone was right on time and extremely personable. He diagnosed our faulty switch quickly and repaired it right away. He also took the time to show us how to upgrade to a dimmer switch ourselves if we were so inclined in the future. Me and my wife called Best Electric to install 2 light fixtures in our new home. They gave us a reasonable price quote and when the electrician Tyrone showed up he showed out. He installed both fixtures in a fast timely manner, was professional with a great spirit. Pretty funny guy, will keep you laughing. Also showed my wife how to install a dimmer box. The price was just what was quoted and we will most definitely be using Best Electric again whenever needed. If in need call The Best and skip the rest.

We had an exceptional experience with Best Electric. I chose this business based on their top reviews and high ratings on Google. The process was great from start to finish. Getting an appointment was easy. Nate streamlined that for us and found the right guy to send out. John the electrician arrived on time and worked efficiently and professionally to install an additional outlet for our new range and solved a problem in our master bathroom by replacing that outlet.

So nice to be up and running in there again. You forget how nice it is to have something fully functional. So we highly recommend Best Electric for their great service and fair pricing and will use them again.

This has just been a mess since the beginning. Best was contracted by the people we used to replace the siding. He showed up sporadically, and was awkward and unprofessional. The first time was okay, I let him inside (during COVID) even though he was doing outdoor work so he could see the space. He never wore a mask, didn't even have one, and no shoe covers either.

The next time I asked him to wear a mask and I had to provide one to him. The next time (yes, this has been almost two months and the project still isn't complete) he showed up to the job with a dead drill? He needed to plug it into my house to charge, and then just sat in his van half an hour letting it juice up. We wanted two over-door lights and two outdoor outlets put in.

He would leave siding open on the house showing the insulation and then leave for days at a time, even during rain storms. The last time he came over he slammed so hard that the plaster wall cracked INSIDE the house! We had two switches to be fixed inside, he did one then sat down and said he was too tired for the day and needed to go home. So he just. left?

Still hasn't been fixed. Now it's been three and a half weeks since he "finished" the project and guess what? The switches for the outdoor lights are swapped. One side of the duplex controls the other side's outdoor lights and vice versa. We've been calling this whole time to get him to return and fix the work, but no one has showed up.

When I first spoke with best electric on a Monday I was pretty hopeful that I was going to get my project done quickly and for a fair price. Simple list of things that needed to be completed from an inspection for a sale. After a couple days of waiting for someone to call to set up an appointment I called back and was told that Bruce had been off and would come out Friday. Ok, no problem.

We went over the list and it seemed pretty straightforward and the work could be done quickly and I would get an estimate soon. Tuesday I emailed to see if I would ever get an estimate and it came in the next day for a whopping $2500 and an offer to do the work over a couple days the next week. I replied to that email asking to go over it closer to understand why it was so high but they never responded to that.

So I called another electrician that my realtor recommended, he came over the next day, gave me an estimate for around $500, started the work immediately, was done that afternoon and charged me $450. The short version: took 9 days just to get the estimate, another 7 or so to start the work and $2500, while another electrician did it in one day for $450. Update: I forgot to mention that when I called about the estimate, Bruce didn't even remember coming out and wasn't even starting an estimate and never would have if I didn't call.

So maybe he got it mixed up with another one so that's why the estimate was so far off. Which is why it would have been nice to get a response when I emailed back to discuss the estimate. Thanks for responding.

We have a home that was built in 1921 and some of the electrical work done over the years is a little puzzling. We have used a number of electric companies for various things but Best is the only one we've used a second time. Curt F worked on a couple issues in the garage and did a great job. He was efficient, friendly, on time and the cost was quite reasonable.

The outside spotlights, on my 100 yr. old garage, kept shorting out. Everything else kept working. Two different electricians, from two different companies, each spent about 4 hr. trying to track down the problem. Both failed. The general theory was the fault might be in the underground line from the house. Thing was, a new line had been run, by one of those companies, when the original had been severed during the removal of an oil heating tank from under our concrete patio.

That was "only" 20 yr. ago. That theory didn't sound quite right to me. Since the wiring in the garage was so old, I was thinking of bypassing all of it, using exposed conduit (rather than ripping out wall paneling), before going for the underground project (again). I also decided to try Best Electric, thanks (in part) to their Yelp reviews. Bruce, the owner, came out for an estimate.

He listened to my long story, asked questions, and made some great suggestions. Though his estimate was a tad higher than a few others I'd also gotten, Bruce's knowledge, and genuine interest, impressed me the most. I was convinced Best Electric were the ones to solve my problems. Laura in the office was awesome in working with me for scheduling, and getting answers to some other questions that I thought of. John, the electrician, actually showed up early for my appointment.

I told John my story, he grabbed his meter, and a ladder, reconnected the outside lights circuit (that one of the previous electricians had left disconnected), and found the problem. All within about 30 minutes! My overall plan included adding some additional internal, and external, lighting, and while doing that John also checked out the existing wiring, which he was surprised to find in amazing condition.

No need to bypass any of it. He also fixed a problem with a hall light in the house. When he was done, John figured out the total bill, which came out WAY UNDER the original estimate that I'd signed off on. He had done what was actually needed, not what Bruce and I had been projecting to be the possible maximum. Bruce had explained to me that he ran his company on the basis of honesty, integrity, and competence. He, Laura, and John lived up to those ideals above and beyond! THANK YOU, Best Electric! Best Electric Services did a great job installing my ceiling fan! Nate was very nice when I contacted Best about an estimate. He scheduled a time that worked with my schedule. Curt, the installer, was very helpful in explaining the estimate of time it would take and price. He also did an outstanding job installing the fan. Very honest and courteous service! Update: Received the quote. It was sent to an incorrect email. The pricing was a lot more than the other three quotes we got, over $1000 more expensive. So I guess we continue to look for electric contractors. I was super hopeful after receiving a quick quote response. I set up the appointment for a Tuesday morning. Bruce was running a little late but called and apologized.

We explained the project and discussed budget and ways to save money. I asked if we could get the quote by Friday because we needed to pick our contractor and get working on the project. Well, it is Monday evening and they are closed. I never did hear back from anyone. I'm highly disappointed. I guess it is okay because we need to change the project anyway. But a simple phone call or email to let me know the estimate wouldn't be completed on time would have been very nice.

First time using Best Electric Service. Curt F terminated the line we had for the dishwasher and relocated the line for the garbage disposal. He also answered questions about some future work I want to have done. Very professional and helpful! Setting the appointment and getting a rough estimate on the cost was easy. I will definitely be using them again and will recommend to others! A++

Great experience. The HVAC company that installed my furnace uses BEST to handle the electrical portion of their installation jobs, and I was very happy. So when I needed an electrician for a separate issue, BEST was my first call. Darryl was prompt, professional, did great work and helped me understand more about the issues and was very up-front about potential costs, so I could make informed decisions. We used Nate and his team to install a charger for our Tesla. We live in a condo so it was more involved than at a single family home. Nate was very helpful, informative and found solutions that worked for us. Very professional install. Would highly recommend!

Hired Best Electric to come out and install a wall charger for a Tesla. They were very knowledgable and came out and gave me a free estimate. They finished the work very timely and were very professional. Curt was fantastic, he knew exactly what to do every step of the way and the charger functioned exactly to the specifications of the Tesla website.
