Scott was born and raised in North Mankato, MN, "which was and is a great place to grow up in, " he states. He and his wife Kim have been married since 1979. They have three sons and two grandchildren. Two of their sons work for RWC. Scott enjoyed being a volunteer fireman with the City of North Mankato for 21 years.
