In the Spring of 2007, Big 4 Development began constructing a 6,000 square foot log home in the mountains above Midway, Utah. The site was rugged and had limited access. Most builders would not even consider building in such a remote location. Because of its 8,000 foot elevation, the building season was short and the snow came early and often. Great creativity was required to get supplies and workers to the site due to the terrain and the weather conditions. Once the foundation was laid, the timber structure of the log home was set and the home was enclosed.

We are an authorized dealer for Whisper Creek Log Homes and walk our customer through the process of selecting and buying a Whisper Creek kit. We make sure that the kit is personalized, that plans are engineered and that the kit is delivered as scheduled. We progress a home to the point that it will pass a 4-way inspection.
In 2005, Big 4 Development partnered with Whisper Creek Log Homes to become their preferred builder throughout Utah. We have now built more Whisper Creek Log Homes than any other builder in the United States. We blend our experience building custom homes with Whisper Creek Log Homes' expertise building quality log home kits.
