But while times have changed, the commitment to quality and relationships that the company was founded on has remained steadfast. Gabriel built our home about eight years ago and it was our dream house. Family called us back home, though, and we left South Carolina this past summer. All along, Gabriel continued to service our house needs and helped us ready the house for sale. We cannot say enough about the integrity, quality of build and responsiveness we always experienced.

We worked with Gabriel Builders during 2014 and 2015 to have our home built. It was an excellent experience. They are extremely competent and professional, and our house has surpassed our highest expectations. Gabriel Builders' team was flexible, offered many suggestions and & advice and "went the extra mile" to ensure that everything was done perfectly.
They found and corrected very minor things that we never even noticed. They worked extremely well with the architect and interior designer we selected, often coordinating meetings when we were still living out of state. As promised, they and we did thorough one-year and two-year walk-throughs. A number of minor issues were identified (more by Gabriel than by us), and they totally fixed every item without any hassle to us. Gus and Belinda Rubio, the owners, treated us like family, and today we consider them friends.

We met the Rubio's when we were searching for a builder to construct a custom house on a lot we had purchased in the Cliffs on Lake Keowee. From our first meeting with Gus and Belinda we were impressed with their friendly personalities and rock-solid principles. After meeting their architect and taking a tour of some of their completed houses, we knew that we wanted the quality of construction and attention to detail provided by Gabriel Builders.
We contracted with them to design and build our "dream house" on Lake Keowee. We cannot be happier with our decision. They listened to our list of wishes and gave us multiple options with costs. Besides providing outstanding in-house architectural design work at a reasonable cost, the Gabriel Builders construction team provided numerous suggestions which enhanced the appearance and function of our house. Gus personally helped design our cabinets and built-ins which finished out beautifully. Gabriel Builders provided top-quality construction at a good value.
They wasted no money. Their accounting system was open and fair. There were no surprises; and our house was completed within budget. Since we were living in Connecticut during the construction process, we desperately needed good communication. The project manager sent photo updates every week and called an average of twice per week. When we visited, we received comprehensive, on-site reviews.
We never felt "out-of-touch" or wondered what was going on. Gus always insisted on top quality material and work from the sub-contractors they used. The sub-contractors with whom we interacted, (the framers, stone masons, electricians, HVAC and painters) were very competent and professional. The suppliers of tile, plumbing fixtures, and appliances were knowledgeable and good to work with. Gus and Belinda also provided us with good recommendations for both landscaping and interior decorating who interfaced seamlessly with their construction team during the finishing phase. Gabriel Builders stayed on schedule.
The house was ready when we expected it to be. After we moved in, we received great follow-up support. Gabriel Builders carted off moving boxes as we unpacked, installed flat screen TVs and built custom cart ramps as needed. All construction and finish problems were quickly addressed and fixed without additional cost on our part. Our high expectations were actually surpassed in the building process. We wholeheartedly recommend Gabriel Builders to anyone wishing to build a high-quality house in the Greenville area.

My husband Steve and I had the opportunity to have our home built by Gabriel Builders, Inc. and what an incredible experience it was for us. Not only was the home beyond our expectations, but Gus and Belinda were wonderful to work with. Gus made use of every available space to provide more usable storage for our growing family and his creativity and attention to detail made our home stand out from all the rest.

Gabriel Builders completed our home in 2008. We thought it would be difficult to build a home outside Greenville while living in Philadelphia, but we were wrong. The professionals at Gabriel knew what it took providing pictures each week and going over all the important aspects of the project with us. They kept a tight rein on costs while delivery unmatched quality. Today we still marvel at our good fortune to meet Gus and Belinda and have them build our dream home. We had a great experience with Gabriel. From the time we first met Gus and Belinda and their willingness to help us with our lot selection till we were able to move into the finished product, they were professional, responsive and truly committed to providing a differentiated experience. We built our home while living in Chicago, but always got clear and concise reports along with a schedule and budget update. Decisions were made with full insight into their impact.
