Updike Construction was so easy to work with and understanding. They kept in touch with us the whole time. They took care of everything. Within a week we had our deck built. They also clean up after themselves. Great company and will recommend them always.

Jules and team did a fantastic job on my deck. I was looking for something specific design-wise, but I couldn't visualize or figure out exactly what was needed. I was looking for some extra privacy on one side, but didn't want to put up a wall. Jules came up with and designed a concept that fit exactly what was needed. It's something that friends and neighbors have consistently described as "cool" and I just love it.

The deck turned out beautiful. I was very pleased with the amount of work that Jules & his crew put into the support system of our deck. They removed the broken and sunk cement patio, leveled the ground, put in footings and framing, then the final boards. The price was the best of all the estimates that I got and I couldn't be happier with the final results. Give them a try, you will be happy you did.

Our experience with Updike Construction has been great all around, from the first bid to the final payment. Jules was informative and easy to work with. We had extremely complicated circumstances since our bid happened before we closed on our house but Jules did a great job of communicating, being responsive to our needs/requests, and working with our timeline.

Most importantly, the final deck was very well done. The contractor on our kitchen remodel commented, "You can tell the guy who built that was a long time frame carpenter. He did a nice job on that! Once I saw how he built the steps I knew he had framed a few houses in his life. Very clean job!" Overall, we are very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend them.
