Decent facility, gym wise. They've got what you need for a quick workout. However, only room for one person to occupy the dumbbell area. The pool/gym hours don't quite make sense- gym opens at 10a on weekends and pool opens at 11 but they don't have lifeguards so I'm not sure what the extra wait is for. If you're an early morning gym goer like I am, unfortunately the hours don't match up, including week days. Pool also needs cleaned badly. The positives are that is always quiet so you never need to worry about loud people.

Critical: Responsiveness Lousy project management on the Colington Rd, kill Devil Hills project. Never saw any road project so disruptive to business, residents and summer rentals. On any given day there could be 6-8 workers standing around while only 2-3 others work. Shameful!

Please put numbers to call on your fleet when we encounter reckless drivers like i have been past 2 weeks. Today, it was my turn to meet the wrath of one of your pick up drivers plying between Wake Forest and Exit 3 off 440. I live in Franklinton and use Capital Blvd to 440 and onwards to Cary. I've encountered this driver a few times before but usually, someone else is having his rear end run up on or cut off. Today, the said bloke was erratically weaving in and out of lanes on 440 between Wake Forest Road and Glenwood Ave. Coming up on Six Forks Exit, he nearly hit me in my little hatchback if i hadn't swerved away from the travel lane I was on.

I took pictures of the said truck, the tag and the Fred Smith decal on the side. I'm sure you have GPS trackers and i can provide accurate locations where I've encountered said truck. Like i said earlier, today wasn't the first time I've noticed this truck. We tend to be on the same route at least 2 to 3 times a week (Between 6.00a and 6.30a) Get a handle on things and have a talk with man before he hurts someone. You've gotta be really stupid to drive a company vehicle emblazoned with company logo like that.

I have not been there personally. My brother works with this company and he absolutely loves it. He is guaranteed forty hours regardless if he works or not because sometimes they get rained out and there might be snow or just two wet to run the equipment used to do the job. This company truly takes care of there employees. All I hear from my brother and anyone else who has 2orked with them is how amazing they are and the people he works with are amazing.

I see from the other comments that this company doesn't care if their drivers run people off the road and damage property so I shouldn't have been surprised that they refused to fix my cracked windshield that came from the negligence of them cleaning their trucks after leaving construction sites AND from not having mud/splash flaps on the vehicles.both of which are required by law on work trucks.

Even after providing them details AND PHOTOS, they had their attorney call to say they weren't responsible. I guess their safety officer and CEO could careless about the safety of the rest of us who have to drive on the same highways and roads of their negligent drivers and equipment. The driver ran off the road at least twice as I followed him, trying to get his attention about my windshield he'd cracked.

He was clearly on the phone, which I saw when I pulled up beside him. According to their attorney, they spoke to the driver and inspected the truck and the truck was free of rocks and mud. LOOK AT THE PICTURES and you will see a different story. If you plan on using this company for construction or any other service, you may want to think twice. If they are this negligent about their drivers and their equipment, what do you think they are capable of when working on your project/facility?

Can only give my highest reccomendations for Fred Smith Company. Professional, and they get the job done right the first time. Keep up the good work, 10/10. Keep up the hard work too! Thanks again

I currently rent a townhome from FredSmith properties so this review reflects the property management side, not construction. Within the past month, my AC unit has gone out 4 times. I have been told by the "emergency maintenance" line that this wasn't an emergency although it's listed on a NC STATUTE as one. 2 different people have come to empty out "drip pans" and say that fixed the issue.

I've spoken to a maintenance supervisor by the name of John, who assured me everything would be fixed on the last visit (last week). I'm a single parent, I have an 11month old and a visiting mother from Ny helping me care for my sick child. The temperature gets up to mid 90s and no one seems to care. I have been trying to get in contact with the leasing office at Headingham and NO ONE will answer the phone, return my calls, or even respond to my many emails that I've sent.

The maintenance guys are lazy as hell and obviously look for a short cut in every bit of work they do. At this point, I am going to seek legal advice to get me out of my lease because Fred Smith doesn't give a damn about their tenants. But be a day late on rent and see what happens. Smh. And to Stefanie Maraziagos, I have tried to contact you multiple times as you are the ONLY contact I have had since applying to this property. You should be fired. If I could leave no stars I would have.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness A truck with a Fred Smith Company logo on it cut me off on I 85 in Durham, NC a few minutes ago. The truck did not signal and caused me to have to slam on brakes. Hopefully whoever it was is safer on the job.

On 9/24/20 I was driving on US117 from Goldsboro to Clinton. This construction company's truck went full speed over into my lane. I laid on my horn and they continued to come into my lane resulting in me going off the side of the road. Upon looking up the company, I noticed another reviewer posted that the same thing happened to them. Absolutely awful and reckless driving on more than one occasion. Terrible way to represent the company that you work for!

I was driving towards Cary on US 1 yesterday. A logo-ed Fred Smith company truck was driving in the left lane (see photos). I was behind him for 5-10 miles, and his speed kept fluctuating from 50-70 mph. I decided best thing was to pass him in the right lane. I turn on my directional and begin to pass him. At the exact same time that I begin to pass him, he engages his directional and quickly begins coming into the right lane.

The concerning part? He did not stop coming into my lane. He kept coming, forcing me fully onto the shoulder at highway speed. I kept my hand on the horn the entire time. Narrowly missing road debris I somehow negotiated my way back onto the highway, . Adding insult to injury, he then proceeded to make his way back into the left lane (?). I don't know anything about this company's competence in construction, but its employees could use a driving class, or three. Not a great way to treat your potential customers, in a logo-ed company truck nonetheless.
