Shivin and his team at DBD had been amazing to deal with throughout the entire building process. I was able to share my initial rough concept and ideas (and being listened to) that came to fruition. DBD was able to architecturally transform my narrow block of land into one beautiful home with amazing facade and living areas just the way I wanted, or I must say exceeded my expectations.
I can say the whole process was an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Communication has been transparent and easy. Shivin and Team were always able to keep me in the loop. They are always there to explain and answer my questions and concerns. I really appreciated this effort and transparency. Received so many compliments from friends and family on how the house truly represents my taste, lifestyle and character. Can't thank Shivin and the team enough - special mentions to Atul, Paul and Farah for their excellent work.

My wife and I purchased a DBD Global renovated property in the last quarter of 2019. Bathroom mirror fell off within weeks, and when repairer arrived, he asked if I had the right sized screwdriver for the job. This repair was an arm wrestle to organise, despite structural integrity requirements from builders. We're not prepared to arm wrestle every single time we find something wrong with the renovation, in order to get faults fixed, so here's a small list of what we have fixed up without involving DBD Global. Had to get a splashback added to stove area, because styled rendering behind had not been sealed. Exterior downpipes were rendered around - i.e., not removed before rendering.
Wall behind kitchen sink (i.e. wet area) merely painted, and not sealed in any way - tiles added by us. Bathroom doors cut too thin causing latch bolt to shift and snag on doorframe - doors replaced by us. All towel rails and toilet holders added by us. Many door latches around the home align poorly - locksmith expenses borne by us. Spent $5k on roof work because roof still leaked above laundry door, despite structural work done by DBD.
One coat of patchy paintwork only, in laundry. No piping added under wash trough in laundry - $1k spent by us adding piping and taps, and clearing external blockage from wash trough. Over bench kitchen cupboards installation suitable for people 8 foot and over, which were installed to align with ceiling, rather than in sensible reach. Timber front door swells in rain due to lack of canopy/protection.
Range hood was not fit for purpose. Upon replacing it, it became evident there wasn't any flexi duct going into the roof. There was just a void heading up into the ceiling. No doubt more issues will present themselves over time. Just let those facts speak for themselves. We purchased this property from investors who used DBD Global to renovate. So, to the company, there won't be any proof of purchase under my name.
But I'm sure it is clear which property I'm referring to. Edit to respond: as for epoxy and resin sealer added to the mix - this begs the question: so why was cooking oil staining the render, if it had been sealed as you say? You are not only bound by a seller contract, but BCA, NCC and Australian Standards and Manufacturing standards. For example, the installed rangehood has a standard of no more than 710mm above the stove top.
The install on this rangehood was more like 1000mm, making the rangehood redundant. I also notice that you fail to address the fact that the rangehood exhaust billows into the roof space, without flue, and the hole cut too small for a flue anyway. The install of rangehood lacked a full install, including several empty screw holes. If the seller were saying install the cupboards higher for aesthetic reasons, the right response would have been to say, we cannot, because the rangehood dictates that it cannot be any higher than 710mm above the stove top.
You can't blame the seller contract for that. If you are only going to build to a seller's standard, then that is a low standard indeed, that speaks to a lack of standard that you build to. Where is your standard? If it is true, that you claim the build requirements were driven by the seller, and built to their standard, rather than your own, why have you even attached your name to the project?

I wasn't sure going ahead with DBD with my first build and not a project builder. I must say I made the best decision after hearing all the horror stories regarding project builders atm. Every one who has seen our facade is awestruck! This is just the beginning and I can say Shivin is definitely going to mark his name in the building industry in no time. We just can't wait to see our house start building, hopefully very soon!

When no one else could do the job due to unreliable employees and extended delay after delay, I had honestly lost hope. But you know what they say, save the best for last and DBD certainly saved the day with time to spare! Absolutely amazing efficiency and superb communication throughout. Honestly cannot thank you guys enough. So damn good. Seriously a breath of fresh air in the construction industry!

As a Town Planning consultant in the Perth Metro area, I have been engaged by DBD on multiple projects in order to achieve Planning Approval. Every step of the design and approval process is easy and smooth as Shivin, and his team work around the clock to balance council requirements, create quality designs and incorporate their client's needs into every project.
The projects delivered by DBD are easily the most architecturally interesting designs I have had the pleasure to work on. The level of professionalism is top rate, and their attention to detail is 10/10. I look forward to being involved in another project with the DBD team. Sincerely, Nick | Oz Planning Town Planning Consultants

Throughout the duration of the project from design to actual construction, the team at DBD have conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism and extended every courtesy possible to me and my family with flexibility throughout the process The team at DBD made their recommendations with our best interests at heart. Their sincere interest in wanting to help us achieve our dream home was readily apparent throughout the construction process. A special mention to Shivin & Atul for helping bring my beautiful home to life.

Where to begin!? Well first of all I would like to say that I have worked for the DBD team, and my experience was more like a welcoming/family type of atmosphere. Where all parties of the company will do there absolute best to benefit, satisfy, and meet to the clients needs and goals. For the price you certainly can't go wrong especially once you see the unique and unimaginative designs of the architectural sides, to the punctuality and deadlines met on time!
Being a tradesman on the job my biggest appreciation was how I was treated with the up most respect and positive attitude from the DBD family : So remember if you want invest, renovate, build, or develop please don't hesitate to contact DBD. It's where you will find the best designs/quality for the right costs

DBD have delivered extraordinary high-quality architectural designs for our projects. They were disciplined, thoughtful, and insightful. They offered creative solutions and ensured accountability to deadlines and milestones. As they demonstrated their excellence, they were rewarded with more responsibilities and new projects. We will continue to use them on on our upcoming projects and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for creative architectural designers.
