Tim Doane and Doane Builders, Inc. have been serving the building needs of the Elmira, Corning, Finger Lakes area for over 25 years. We have built custom homes ranging from 1,200 to over 7,000 sqft. Doane Builders offers you the flexibility to build on your own lot, in a non-owned subdivision, or in one of our beautiful planned communities. Currently 2 available lots exist in Phases I & II of Highland Hills, and Phase III is now open for building. Our newest planned community, Quarry Creek, is being designed to foster a sense of community not found in many residential subdivisions.
Services
We have two building lots available in Elmira Heights, located on Orchard Hill Road. Each 5-acre parcel is $65,000 and is sold with a contract to build with Doane Builders, Inc. Tim and his crew beautifully rebuilt our house after its interior was completely destroyed by a furnace fire. Dealing with Tim, his great crew, and Missy in the office was the easiest aspect of our entire ordeal in the aftermath of the fire. Everyone in the Doane crew were prompt, professional, thorough, and were extremely responsive to questions and concerns.
Located on Gardner Road (across from Gardner Road Elementary School) in the Town of Horseheads, NY. A growing neighborhood close to schools, shopping, and within 1-1/2 miles of an entrance to Interstate 86 for an easy commute to Elmira, Corning, Ithaca, Waverly and Northern Pennsylvania. The planned development called Quarry Creek is currently in the final engineering process.
Doane Builders has many lots available in one of our subdivisions. If you have your own lot, a site visit will be set up. Factors such as size of property, orientation of house, driveway placement, utility access and site preparation all effect the price of your new home. Prior to a formal proposal being written, you will be asked to list the amenities you would like in your new house i.e.

I spoke with their office, after finding an available apartment/condo on the internet! The young lady was amazingly kind, helpful & thorough.but most importantly she was honest & stayed genuine throughout the entire phone call. Very important traits for an employee to have.
