Brickkicker Home Inspection

This is my first home purchase, and the first time I've been involved with a home inspection. Will really made it easy. As soon as I met him at the house, he gave me an explanation of what he was going to do and where he was going to inspect. This really made me feel at ease before the process even really started. At every point throughout the inspection, he would point out a finding to me, asked if I understood what he was explaining, and if I didn't understand, he would walk me through it.

I'll admit, I'm not exactly "handy, " however, I feel completely confident on what to do and who to contact to fix any issue found during the inspection thanks to Will. I couldn't be happier with the process. Would highly recommended to anyone.

Our inspector Tom P. was prompt. Did a great job greeting us and giving us a full scope of what to expect during the inspection. He got right to work and did a very thorough detailed explanation of all the details that I wanted to know about the home we were buying. We received a detailed 42 page report with photos the same exact day the inspection was done. This company Brickkickers really knows what they're doing and I would be happy to strongly recommend them!

We had a home inspection done, not because we are moving anytime soon, but rather for peace of mind that all of the wiring and pipes and outlets, etc. etc. are in good working order. I was able to schedule within a few days of reaching out. My inspector was on time and spent three hours inspecting our house. He allowed us to "tagalong" and answered all of our questions. Chris did the inspection on the home I'm purchasing. The house was built in 1927, so some problems were bound to pop up. Chris was clearly knowledgeable, open, friendly, patient and thorough. Made me feel very at ease, and made me feel that no question was a foolish one!

Brian's report was very detailed. He called me up right after the inspection to go through everything and he got me the report that evening. It was helpful in negotiating seller credit. I would use him again for my next home purchase. I knew that the home needed a lot of work so it helped that Brian identified a lot of the little things that future tenants in the rental would potentially call about.

Brian is thorough and very knowledgeable. If you're looking to buy or sell a commercial or residential property you should definitely call him first! They also do termite inspections, roof certifications and mold inspections if you ever find yourself needing advice on any of that. Great guy whose professionalism and patience take the stress out of the entire process.

Brian completed an ad-hoc, informal inspection for my house. His advice during the inspection was invaluable and helped me prepare to put my house up-for-sale. I have a 25 year-old single story house in Frisco. So there are many things that could fail an inspection. Brian arrived in the morning exactly on-time. Since this was an informal inspection he walked the entire property with me.

Thus included all rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, the perimeter of property, pool equipment, roof, attic and brick work over front door. At each area that would fail an inspection he explained why it would fail the inspection and suggested how to fix the problem. In some areas we discussed the minimum improvements I would need to do to pass. Since I'm selling I'm looking for any cost cutting area as possible.

So all the advice really helped save me money and prioritize mandatory fixes versus nice-to-have suggestions from my realtor. I highly suggest the inspection and advice that I got from Brian.
