Stebnitz Builders

I live in a house built in 1920. My whole first floor is drop ceiling. So I called stebnitz to come quote me for framing in two ceilings and dry wall tape and mud 3 ceilings. All around 10 x 10. I then asked for a sand stain and varnish of the 3 rooms that they're doing the ceiling in. Around 800 ish sq ft. On top of that I asked for an outlet and some dimmer switches along with a couple cup lights in the ceiling.

After getting the quote of 18k I asked if they broke down the quote. They do not. All fixed rate. Wonder why? Project manager shows up 2 weeks before we start and has no idea the floors are being done and that it wasn't even in the original quote! 18k to frame in 3 ceilings with some light electrical work and drywall? Just got my quote from a different company for 7k!

Do yourself a favor and don't use these over pricers you're being robbed! What I will say is they were very good in returning my down payment and cutting ties without a Hastle which I did appreciate.

I worked with Barney Brugger at Stebnitz builders and he couldn't have been nicer to work with. Even though we changed our plans several times Barney was always patient and even helped with creative ideas to solve problems. Barney was great and he is a good reflection on the quality of the firm.

Being a sub contractor for Stebnitz Builders, Inc it has become very clear to us that they pay great attention to detail with all their projects. Nothing is left forgotten about, from start to finish. Which leaves their customers very satisfied. Do to these reasons They quickly became a builder that we would highly recommend!

I had STEBNITZ Builders do a large remodel to my home. The exterior work on my home is rotting to the point of being dangerous on the entrance to my home. This work was done 10 years ago. I called STEBNITZ but they came out and looked but took no responsibility. I am currently in the process of spending several thousand dollars to have much of the work removed and redone do to wrong materials and poor workmanship.

Do not use this builder. This is in response to CHRIS S. Comment. In regard to the maintenance issue I spoke to the painter this morning and he said it was power washed at least once a year and sometimes twice and painted at least every 3 years. My current problem is my frunt door entrance, approximately 5 years ago we had a similar problem on the back door entrance and because this was just beyond your 5 year warranty you took no responsibility and we had repaired at our expense.

I was never evolved in a conversation of products to use, my husband has recientley passed away so I can not speak for him however I can say one of our main priorities in the remodeling was low maintenance thus the no maintenance siding, soffetts and trim everywhere possible. Why would we save a few thousand on the entrance ways after spending several hundred thousand to remodel? This was a inferior application that your company is responsible for in every way.

I had an extensive remodel done by Stebnitz. Over $500K. The remodel included two exterior trellis elements and both have completely rotted within 7 years. The company would not take any responsibility for what was clearly inferior material for an exterior application. I would never use this company again.

Stebnitz Builders is a top notch construction and remodeling company that I would recommend to anyone considering a new home or updating/changing an existing house. Their communications, attention to detail, craftsmanship and ability to deliver to scope, schedule and cost is outstanding. We love the work they did at our residence. And, the crew was EXTREMELY pleasant to have around.

We are really happy that we went with Stebnitz Builders. They stand behind their work. The fact that they specialize in remodeling was a plus. There were able to anticipate most unusual things that came up and handled the unexpected very well.

Stebnitz Builders recently completed the residing of my home. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail that the crew paid to my project. They removed all of the old siding, repaired the insulation and home wrap, installed all new trim and then added the new siding. They finished with caulking and the repainting of the trim.

He gives great directions on what he wants me to do every week and is also very understanding of how busy I am as a college student. Stebnitz Builders is working really hard to improve their presence on the web, especially on social media sites.
