I have worked with DJK Custom Homes for over 17 years. I am a Mortgage Lender that specializes in Construction Loans and have had the pleasure of financing many of their clients with Construction to Perm loans. I have had noting but successful projects with DJK and they are a pleasure to work with. I get rave reviews often from their clients as their home progresses.

I've been in many of their model homes as well and words can not express how impressed I am ever time I walk in. The attention to detail is amazing. They have a very friendly staff and you can tell they love what they do! Top notch all the way around!

I had reached out to DJK homes to help with remodeling my parents home. I sought them out due to good reviews. After reaching out, they asked for wish list and pictures of the home, which I provided. I also gave them a recent home inspection. I then received no contact back despite several polite attempts to check in. I first sent in my request in early June.

It is now late July, with absolutely no contact back despite at least 5 emails to try and check in. The lack of professionalism is completely unacceptable. ****update: They got back to me eventually and I updated the review above. They apologized and explained how busy they were and have been making some sincere efforts to communicate and make up which I appreciate. ****update: I continued to work with DJK and updated the review again, making it 5 stars.

Over our correspondences in exploring building options, I experienced the supportive and kind experience that DJK provides. From their website to their associates, the information they provide is detailed and thorough. They have a wealth of knowledge and transparency that is a cut above competitors. I realized the initial delay that caused me to write the initial avg review was just because they are so busy.

They have built a reputation that makes them highly sought after. We worked mostly with Shannon in Sales, and she was fantastic! Very patient with all our questions and prompt with her follow up. Terrific experience and we would highly recommend this venerable organization!

My company installed a large solar system on DJK's new model home in downtown Naperville. The project ran on time, they were very easy to coordinate with for different parts of the project, and the home itself is gorgeous. My entire solar installation team was in awe of their professionalism and attention to detail. Could not be happier with our partnership.

DJK built us our dream home after looking at a few builders in the Oswego area. They were the only ones able to give us everything we were looking for in our new home. Walked us through the whole process and we customized everything to our liking. Great company to work with. Would do business with them again.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dan, mark, Annie, kevin, caryn and the entire DJK team for building our dream home. Dan was instrumental from the very beginning in helping design the house and having an idea of what my wife and I were looking for. After the first meeting he was able to determine our tastes and was able to design a floor plan that we absolutely fell in love with.

Mark was our project manager and point of contact once the house was under construction. He was very professional and always answered our questions. He was on top off the different trades and made sure everything was done the way we wanted and was designed. Annie has a knack for interior design and helping pick out the interior off the house and was always available to provide invaluable input.

It was a long, fun, and at times, stressful journey, however DJK was there every step off the way and never made us feel pressured. The entire team was very easy to work with as they took their time to make us feel welcome and like we were a part of their family. They answered any questions we had thoroughly and offered suggestions. Their genuine interest in our specific needs, coupled with their dedicated attention to detail, perfection and professionalism is truly admired.

We had high expectations that were exceeded at every turn. We absolutely love our home and it turned out better than expected. We have gotten so many compliments and we couldn't ask for anything more, I would highly recommend DJK to anyone that is interested in building their dream home and am excited for ongoing relationship with DJK.

After months of searching for the right home and debating between buying or building, we stopped into the DJK office in Plainfield. We first met Matt who introduced us to Dan. After the first meeting with both Matt and Dan we knew we would build and no need of shopping around! We started the process by sharing our vision of the floor plan and the mixed home styles we liked, Dan did a fantastic job of translating our thoughts to paper also offering his opinion on features he thought would enhance our home. Dan could easily be a top ranked designer, he has great taste and a great eye for detail. Dan is upfront and honest which made the experience truly enjoyable. Dan, Matt, Mark, Kevin and Annie guided us with honest feedback and regular updates.

The finished product is exactly as we envisioned. The true test comes after construction. After being in the home for six months, we are amazed by the quality and craftsmanship, Dan obviously works only with the best. Support after closing is truly amazing as well with Caryn and team addressing all of our concerns, no questions asked. All follow up requests have been met with a smile and a lets get it done attitude.

Through the whole process and even to today, I feel Dan and team can deliver on any size project no matter how challenging with confidence. In our minds there is nothing this team can not do! We truly love our home and thank Dan and his entire DJK team for the support and providing us with the home we always dreamed of.

DJK is the best! From our initial meeting last year, we knew we wanted Dan and the DJK team to build our home. We had high expectations that were exceeded each step of the way.
