The Lenape (pronounced Len-a-pE) organization formed in 1978 and was named for a region of Chester County, Pennsylvania in which the original partners were looking to invest and develop. The region was named for the Lenni Lenape Indian Tribe who were among the earliest residents of the Mid-Atlantic region along the Delaware River in New York, New Jersey and Delaware.

Poor quality. You expect a brand new home to be done correct yet when it came to final walk through. had 2 pages worth of issues needed to be addressed. had plumbing, HVAC, and grading issues since moving in. They subcontract and take no accountability for the companies they work with. WILL NEVER BUY OR BUILD A HOME WITH THEM AGAIN.

I have lived in this house for a year and it seems time and time again something about this house wasn't built properly. They never glued the vinyl to the subfloor. The vinyl siding is not properly fit to the house. There is an outside wall in our living room that bumps out. Probably from them stuffing materials behind the wall. The list still goes on and on and no one will reply back to service these mistakes.
The employees at Lenape were very disrespectful during the showing and walk through of the home. Ricardo is a highly disrespectful individual and the community at old country farms all have negative comments to make about him.

Rude office staff, feel like they don't want your business especially David who laughs at you when your are trying to conduct business questions. I won't be giving my hard earn money to them. I going with a different builder who had exceptional Customer Service. Maybe Lenape should should hire professionals and not clowns. Only giving one star because they won't allow me to leave ZERO.

Very much enjoyed working with Lenape Builders in building my forever home. I am extremely satisfied with the results, couldn't be happier! I also really appreciate the staffs effort to make this process fast and easy. They were always there to accommodate me with any questions and concerns I might have. Probably the worse customer service I've seen in a while. Although they were extremely helpful and accommodating in the beginning, after you close all consideration goes out the window. They do not uphold their word on coming back to fix items, and when they do the job isn't even halfway done all the time. Customer service almost never gets back to you as you have to contact them 5 times just to get 1 response. Will most likely not work with them again in the future.

David Hilliard is about the best part of this so called company, the rest of them can kick rocks. Where do I start, they are very inconsiderate, they don't return phone calls after you buy. They do not uphold the Warranty. They are very condescending, poor and cheap labor masked by a nice exterior, quality of work is cheapest prices they can find. DO NO I mean DO NOT buy from these people, their all nice until you close the deal.

Builds below standards, horrible customer service. Had house built by Lenape, have since had multiple problems including shingles and siding coming off, 2 window panes releasing gas and fogging up, and driveway deteriorating and falling apart (driveway was poured.5" in areas when standard is 2"). That is not including out of square doorways, poor insulated exterior walls, out of level concrete in basement, duct work leaking by in areas 10"x16" that were never capped. Tried contacting customer service for the shingles, siding and windows and told every time "not covered by warranty" most recently called about driveway 9/5/16, 9/15/16 and 9/26/16 with no response from service manager and receptionist telling me "nothing further she can do"
