I recently had a home inspected and am very satisfied with the work that was done. This will be the third home I am purchasing and this was by far the most thorough team I worked with. Aaron, Phil and Justin were all available during the inspection for any questions and kept me updated throughout the inspection process. The report that followed was very thorough as well. I 100% recommend Up-Country Building Inspectors for your inspection needs. They were easy to contact, quick to follow-up, and were able to schedule the inspection quickly while being competitively priced. I was able to attend the inspection and tag along with the inspector in order to see the issues conveyed in the report first-hand. Up-Country delivered a very thorough whole-house inspection report, as well as results from Radon and Sewer line inspections.

This is my 10th home that I have purchased & the first time I employed Up-Country for the inspection. The inspectors, Aaron, Justin & a new employee whose name I don't recall, were prompt, courteous, answered all my numerous questions in great detail, & well-informed. The report is the most comprehensive one I have ever received. A few days after the inspection, Aaron answered even more questions & made me feel that I was his only client. We Hired Up-Country to perform our house inspection back in December 2020 and although the picked out the obvious like a stain on the celling and some rotten wood around the house that a blind guy could pick up on and some windows not working properly. I find out now after we moved in that we have some electrical issues of three way switches wired wrong, some out side lighting not working and possible broken wire and the most disturbing issue is; on Saturday 1/16/2021 during the down pour of rain, I could have taken a shower in the bathroom where the stain from a previous water leak that they said was fixed and looked OK.
Here is an idea, how about getting up on the roof for an inspection or find a way to inspect if from the ground! How about checking for moisture on the celling or walls! I've been the house now for 1 week and we bought a money pit that they should have picked up on! If you want to throw your money away, go ahead and hire them but you'll be sorry. Very nice people but lack the knowledge of house inspection!

The team at Up-Country were great, start to finish. They educated me on the specifics of my septic system, as well as caught quite a few major (and minor) issues with a property I am purchasing. I'm not a first-time home buyer, but I haven't bought off city utilities before--so that education was invaluable. The team was timely, patient, and respectful.
