We needed an air conditioning tune-up. The technician, Nick, arrived promptly and did a very thorough job. Our unit was low on freon so he added what was required. Mice had built a nest there and chewed the wires. Nick cleaned out the mouse nest and fixed the wire. I think cleaning out the nest was above and beyond AC maintenance, but he cheerfully volunteered to do it. We've had other work done by Joel Smith Heating & AC and we are absolutely satisfied with their services.

Quick response! We arrived home after a weekend away to our AC out and temps for the next several days in the 90's+. I called on Monday late afternoon and they were able to send someone out right away on Wednesday. Curt was punctual, professional, and quickly fixed the problem. He even made the time to perform an additional service and do a maintenance check on the furnace (I told him I'd like to have a check on it then rather than calling in January when it goes out at -30, which would be just our luck!). Great service and value. 5-star recommendation!

We called to have them come look at our AC. It has been hot and our AC just hasn't been able to keep up. They were able to send someone out quick to look at it. Turns out it just needed a good cleaning of the coils. Also good that we didn't do it ourselves because our coils are unique and taking a hose to them ourselves could have damaged them. The technician also took time to talk to us about future replacement of our system (it is 21 years old). Our AC is working better now even with some still hotter Temps. We will use them again for future needs.

I have been a customer of Joel Smith Heating and air since 2012. They have always been responsive to my and my family's needs. They installed my furnace and AC back in 2012 and it has been trouble free since. except when I forgot to clean my AC condenser coils. (my fault!) I contacted Joel Smith Heating and Air Conditioning a few weeks ago for a furnace tune-up and cleaning. The work was completed on 10/19/2020. The service technician, Dustin (who also installed this heating and AC system about 10 years ago) was extremely professional, followed COVID guidelines and called before he arrived to let me know he was running a little late. Dustin did a great job of explaining what he did on the tune-up and the status of the furnace. He left the furnace area as clean as it was before he arrived. Overall a professional job from start to finish.

If I could give them more stars I would! They made sure everything was installed to perfection. They did repairs on things that were not included in the bid but should be done. They treat your home as if they were working on their own home. I had other bids and I am so glad I chose Joel Smith Heating, I have not received this kind of service in a long time! Great service Refreshing from setting appointment to finished product. Had whole house humidifier installed by technician named Dustin. He was professional, on time, and arrived with face mask and protective gloves (Covid-19). He wore protective gear throughout installation. He explained the install and how to operate system after install. There were no surprises, no up-selling, and he had an extra filter for me to purchase at my request. I would recommend J Smith Heating & Air to anyone. Very professional staff, fair pricing, and great customer service.

5 star service! Joel came out to give me a bid for a new a/c the same day after Home Service Plus told me that I needed a whole new unit. Joel discovered that HSP did not connect all the wires and also that the tech had the wires hooked up backwards.no wonder it didn't work. I would recommend Joel Smith Heating to anyone! I got several bids but wasnt satified wth what they offered. Joel came through, explained things well and offered a product that rates high on Consumer Reports. We blew the capacitor on our A/C on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend -- of course nobody was open. Out of desperation, I called Joel at home. He drove in and opened up his shop and sold me the part I needed. Later that afternoon, he even called back to ensure that I got everything installed and running properly.
