EnviroBate started in 1989 when the federal asbestos regulations created the need for a strong abatement industry. Jerry Larson saw this need and filled it as he moved from the banking industry into the small business world. Jerry was a pioneer in this field and EnviroBate owes its excellent reputation to the company he created.
With EnviroBate's strong reputation in the industry and ability to execute our services, our talented teams tailor each project to meet our client's unique and often challenging requirements on projects. It was extremely stressful to have asbestos found in my lower level after flood damage. Having your house torn up is no fun. The guys from EnviroBate took away so much of that stress! They were so understanding, so professional, and so considerate of my time. The repeatedly accommodated my need to access various areas of the house in the midst of their work.
They worked around multiple issues at my home and were so careful with my animals. One guy (Darin) even fixed my garage door and carried down a very heavy container of food for my animals. He also asked if their equipment would scare the animals and had me monitor the animals while he turned on various tools to make sure the animals wouldn't freak out. These guys are great and I'd highly recommend them!

These guys did an awesome job. We bought a house with asbestos tile in the basement and I called Marcus the project manager on a Tuesday, he had an estimate to me within a few hours and a crew at my house right on time on Thursday am. Asbestos tile and adhesive was gone within 6 hours and the 2 man crew couldn't have been anymore professional or friendly. They were honest, the price was right and got the job done. A+. I would recommend Envirobate to anyone looking to have Asbestos tile removed.

I reached out to Envirobate to get a quote on my basement ceiling. I promptly got a response from Marcus. He was asked me a few questions about the type of ceiling and honestly recommended that I get it tested first. He gave me two local asbestos testers that I reached out to. It turned out that they were free of asbestos and Marcus saved me thousands in unnecessary costs due to my lack of knowledge on the topic.
I think it shows the company ethics and integrity that they give honest advice. I can only imagine this carries through to them actually performing the service they provide. Can't thank you enough and appreciate the help! If I ever encounter asbestos, I know who I will turn to.

Seemed like an excellent company and service for our home needs. Set up a time to come to our house and give estimate. Made sure I could be home at that time and the guy never showed up. I tried calling personal line and office and no one followed up. We likely would have picked this company to do the work based on our phone conversations with them. Gave up trying to track them down.

Note: Services were not performed at my location. I had them come out for an estimate on a small mold problem. Following a plumbing backup, my laundry room wall was soaked. Weeks later, I had a mold problem that seemed to be expanding. When they came out, I had a spot of mold on my wall that was about 1' tall and 3' wide behind my washing machine and some stainless steel tables.
They quoted me at $1200 ONLY to remove the drywall and insulation behind it. He told me it would take 4 hours of labor. I asked how much it would cost if I moved my washing machine and the steel tables out of the way, and then the price was $800. They wanted to charge $400 to MOVE a laundry machine and tables? Seriously? Do you think I'm a moron? I mentioned that this seemed like a lot of money, and the rep kept on saying, you should just file an insurance claim.
Guess what, with a $1000 deductible, that makes absolutely no sense. But I guess in his universe, it's ok if you screw the insurance company for an exorbitant sum of money (because obviously, removing the drywall is only the first part of the claim). I hired a handyman to come remove the drywall for me. It took one guy two hours to remove it by himself and he charged me $150.
I had to wait Two stars because envirobate came to assess the situation quickly and provided an accurate appraisal of what needed to happen. They said they'd be available to come out in the next couple days, which would have been convenient. But please, don't treat me like a bewildered young faun who cannot solve problems for a reasonable expense. Took me a few extra days to get it done, but for saving $1050, I'll take it.

I've used Envirobate for two projects. The first I had some asbestos tile removed from my basement. They did a good job, but they made a mistake. Jeff from Envirobate made it right without any haggling. Thats why I had no problem calling them back for another job which they did fast and under budget! Their technicians are professional and friendly. I highly recommend them.
