The Local Authority with Jurisdiction (LAJ) defines and relies on past construction codes which include 2003, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2012 International Buildings Codes (IBC), International Mechanical Codes (IMC), International Plumbing Code (IPC), International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), National Electrical Code (NEC) and (NFPA 70).
CID's Steel Building Division designs and manufactures temporary or permanent Prefabricated Modular Buildings. All prefab structures utilize CID's Trademark fabrication technique which incorporates Protected Cradle and Crown construction. Witnessed in the photograph below is a three-module building being separated for Quality Control and Pre-Shipment inspection.
The CID Steel Building Division designs and manufactures crane-liftable, multi-story control rooms, offices, computer centers, control pulpits, modular rooms, electrical enclosures, motor control centers, modular crane cabs, equipment utility shelters, restroom facilities, guardhouses, blast-resistant structures, laboratories, substations, test cell chambers, meter rooms, and dynamometer centers.
CID is a leading crane cab manufacturer with years of experience in the business. Less industrialized crane cabs are usually either open structures or if closed in, they have inadequate visibility. CID Steel Buildings, Inc. can retrofit these units by encapsulating the cab with full view glass and providing severe-duty HVAC equipment for a better working environment in harsh mill atmospheres. New crane cabs are also available and will incorporate customer requirements with our fully-staffed engineering and design group.
