Our expert masonry teams will work closely with the general contractor to build your commercial or residential structure in the material you choose: brick, stone, marble, granite, travertine, limestone; concrete block, glass block, stucco or tile.Masonry structures built in compression, preferably with lime mortar, can have a useful life of more than 500 years, compared to 30 to 100 for structures made of steel or reinforced concrete.
Does your commercial or residential structure in the Chicago area have gaps along windows, doors or in other spaces? Be sure to keep out water, air, dust and insects with caulking completed by our experienced crew. We specialize in new caulking as well as caulking replacement. We'll apply flexible sealing compounds to close up the gaps in your buildings, which provides thermal insulation, prevents water penetration and mitigates noise.
Exterior Insulation and Finish System (E.I.F.S.) is is a cladding system that consists of a thin layer of reinforced stucco applied directly to the surface of an insulating plastic foam board. With our E.I.F.S. expert service, we use an integrated composite material system to provide your exterior walls with an insulated finished surface and waterproofing.

Dealing with Chicago Masonry is frustrating and has left me with more problems. They were quick to respond pre-sale, but after signing they have been difficult to get in contact with. They first came out and stored a large amount of materials on my property for months before starting work. After the work was completed, they left a lift in my parking space for over two weeks.
The contract was signed on 8/2/2021 and Chicago Masonry declared the work completed on 11/23/2021. The number of days of actual work was 4 days. The workers then came out and, at a glance, decided more work was needed to be done causing an increase in cost. Normally I would understand this, but I had the estimator come out and took photos before the work started.
I just wanted the whole ordeal over with so paid the extra cost. The contract includes completion of proper flashing/drainage with all edges of the work sealed. After paying for the work in full, I find out that they did not complete the work stated in the contract. I learned this during heavy rains when my roof started to leak. There are spaces large enough to get my finger from the bottom of their work to the interior of the building. This is now causing damage to my property. I do not recommend using Chicago Masonry.

Overall I am very pleased. The quote was in line with other companies. The day of the job they showed up on time and with the work permit. The work was done exactly as discussed and looked good upon completion. I did have to call a few times leading up to the job to get updates about scheduling and making a deposit. I would use Chicago masonry again for future work if needed.

We are so pleased with the recent tuck pointing work done on our house. In addition to Jason's professionalism and knowledge in masonry, he explained the process simply, but thoroughly. With this being our first experience with tuck pointing, he was kind and shared information with kindness and NOT a condescending attitude. Jason communicated in a timely fashion prior to, during and upon completion of this project. Honestly, Jason and his crew made what could be a stressful project for a homeowner, into an easy and satisfying process.
Crew cleaned up their work and left no trace of them having been there. It was a pleasure to work with Jason and his crew! The completed tuck pointing looks fabulous! I highly recommend, and thank. Chicago Masonry Construction.

I don't give out five stars so 4 stars from me is very impressive. They came out and evaluated that we had a leak from our foundation into our basement. The quote was fair and they didn't really try to up sell us on unnecessary stuff. When my wife put in the request on a Friday evening someone called Saturday morning letting us know that someone would be out to review and give us a quote the next week. They were busy but they squeezed us in on a Sunday morning to get it done from start to finish in one day. Bravo!
