If I could give this business no stars I would, not because they performed actual work but because they are unprofessional. I called for an estimate on repairs to our basement that had about an inch of raw sewage come in. After having it cleaned and disinfected I called Prestige for a quote on fixing the basement. The guy that answered asked if we had put a claim into our insurance and since the claim adjuster had just been there that morning, I said yes and the amount.
He told me that someone would call me promptly to set up a time to meet with us. No one ever called so I had my husband call back the next day. Well apparently they wouldn't be able to do the job for the amount the claim settled for. I don't have a problem with this, I have a problem with the fact that they wasted my time. A professional would have told me then and there on the phone that the job couldn't be done for that amount and would have called back.
It may not be urgent for these contractors but I would like my basement fixed and instead of waiting for you to call me back, I could waste time on finding another contractor. Furthermore, this is the amount the claim settled for so it's one instance. They didn't take into consideration that I would have more work in the future for siding, windows, bathrooms, etc. PRESTIGE CONTRACTORS - DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR NAME.
